I don't mind using Rite I of the 1979 BCP. I could probably live with the NRSV as long as I had another Bible Translation for Bible Study. The 1979 BCP still includes the 39 Articles for those who want a more Augustinian / Calvinist doctrine. However, given a choice between the two, I'd take the Anglican Office Book, Second Edition. I like the Anglican Breviary just as much. But, its harder to follow. So, I would use the AOB as my main prayer book, using Matins and Evensong and the Litany. I use the Anglican Breviary for Compline and for the Sermon and the Hagiography. If I add in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, I'm pretty much all set. Yes, a Missal is good as well. This was a good comparison video. Thanks.
I used rite 1 in the 1979 as an intro to the prayer book, and I think it's a perfectly good BCP. I also love that it has midday prayer and compline, which my copy of the 1928 doesn't.

Interesting content. I attend Holy Mass often at an Ordinate of St Peter parish.
AOB comes from the continuum and is not in communion with Canterbury
