Very complete, clear, well presented and most useful review. I have been mostly using my Zfc with manual Leica R lenses, a joy that peacking focus and beautiful results, but more recently I'm working more and more with the 16-50, ultra compact and light, also very good shots. And now, as I realized from your work, this 50-25 is the go-to companion to close the walking and promenade range set. Regards
Great video Wim, the two "kit" lenses may not be the fastest lenses in the world but they are surprisingly good performers and an absolute bargain bought as a two lens kit
Thank you for this review. I just ordered this lens for my Z7 as a lightweight travel telephoto... it will let me carry a much smaller and lighter bag.
Can you compare it to the 18-140mm, please? I wonder why those lenses are kit lenses, but it seems that those kits are much better than the main kit 16-50mm. I mean A LOT. Even when I use the Nikon Z 12-28 DX, the image quality is wow. Are these really kit lenses?? So much better than the main one.
I haven't got the 18-140mm z, but had the f-mount version. This 50-250mm is way better than that f-mount version. One downside of these kit lenses is the low aperture. Other than that, this lens is highly recommended!
Yes, I would pick up the 50-250mm. I have had and used the 300mm PF but that lens is way overpriced imho. Unless you need that f/4 and the extra 50mm reach, the kit zoom performs well over its price point. I sold the 300mm PF.
Excellent video 😮!
Thank you so much!
Hi Wim , thanks for the video , time well spent.

Great video ❤ greetings from Czech Republic
Thank you from Belgium!
Great video, como siempre :D
Thank you!
Thank you for this video. What were your main reasons for getting a mirrorless camera?
The reason for me was video and a lighter set.
Also the new z-lenses are an improvement over the f-mount lenses.
Niiice video! Really helpful.
Thank you 🙏

Do you know how it compares in image quality compared with the Nikon 300 pf?
