I honestly hasn't laughed so much in a long time! My eyes are crying. My stomach is hurting. My face is aching. This was definitely one of your best episodes ever! The silly part is that each of those empty buns costs exactly the same as if you got a full Big Mac. No discount for removing the meat.
Hopefully, they just went to a market to get all those ingredients --- they're all available and fairly cheap (considering).

the double fish is also common in the usa even though it's not on the posted menu.
Filet-o-Fish is the best sandwich at McDonald's, and many locations here in the U.S. actually have that as a menu item.

As great as these all were Ollie, I feel you missed the golden opportunity to present the Chi-Mac (Chimaek). Beautiful korean style fried chicken wings peeled off the bone and placed into a Big-Mac. Paired with beer obviously :P

Hearing the crew laughing quietly while they tried that McSwig was perfection.
The McChicken in other countries actually taste good! It doesn't look like a fried cardboard lol, it usually has a crispy fried chicken fillet. 👌 And that spam mac would probably go best with a sweet sauce like teriyaki to counteract the saltiness.
McChicken exists but I don't think anyone orders it. The chicken burger you're describing is a seasonal one, at least from where I am. It's either the McSpicy or the current one, K-chicken burger.
We have McChickens where I live and people really like them.

Australian MacDonald's actually has a wagyu burger using Australian wagyu. To support local farmers.
Now I would try that! I haven't been to McDonald's in US in decades, and don't plan to ever set foot in there again. Ugh!

That was hilarious, Ollie's names for each Mac was so clever and witty, but the "Swig Mac" killed me. Ollie's face as he tasted it had me on the floor.
What's with the hate on the Filet-o-Fish?! It is essentially a giant fish finger, with cheese and tartar sauce, and a pillowy steamed bun, which is excellent if you ask me!

In the 1990s, someone at McD's Indonesia took the Indonesian mum adage of "if you haven't had rice, then you haven't eaten anything" literally and released the McRice - a burger with (seasoned) breaded rice patty. So bread, on top of rice, on top of another bread. I don't think it lasted for more than a year, but it wasn't unpopular. It tells you all you need to know about the Indonesians' love for rice.
Damn, never heard of it although I'm indonesian who was born and lives here. It's so bizzarre. I can imagine how heavy and dry it is to eat. Anyway, thanks for the info ^^

Thats a common menu here (chicken bigmac), in JKT. Honestly, mcd has lots of flavor experiment these few years. They provide rendang, nasi goreng, and tons of local delicacy flavored burgers and yet its very intriguing. I wish u guys had a chance to try/taste & dissect whats in it. 😁

@@cassie5219 I dont know where you get your beef prosperity burger. But here in Malaysia, it's load of black pepper sauce on it and reach to the point of inedible. One of my worst experience with McDonald.

I’ve had a depressing and death related day today, but this episode not only lifted my mood, but also my will to go on. Seeing Ollie power through that Swig Mac from start to finish made me believe that if he can march through that entire atrocity of a drink, I too can march through the same atrocity of a world we’re currently living in. I randomly found this video, and it might be a bit off-topic but I'm really surprised about the reaction to Filet-O-Fish! As a Japanese, I've never seen/heard people saying bad about it, or rather, Filet-O-Fish is one of the popular burgers at Japanese McDonald's I believe!

Yeah it was done in the US on and off.. Same with a double fish-fillet.
But there are lots of "off menu" items many places have that are only made in certain areas too

Chicken big Mac has existed in Sweden on and off for a few years, like it was my go to in 2017. The trick is to have it fresh so that the breading on the chicken is still crispy and then the breading doesn’t enter into conflict with each other. The magic is the Big Mac sauce and crispy chicken combo
