After so many hours can you tell me how to destroy or sell my ship? I'm 2h in the game in the first system and I can't sell it or destroy that and I have already 2 ships that I don't want
I have over 230 hours in this game and did not realize I got a sonar device with the object detector. Just used my eyes balls and wandered star systems. Thanks mate.
Gradually worked this out the hard way, got bored of looking for asteroids manually and then had the revolutionary discovery of the object finder. So nice to have, and the trade subsystem beats the X4 beautifully, great fun to do economic planning.
Great content. Very simple and thorough! I recently restarted Avorion and never got into this part of the game, but this time around I am and this is super helpful.
Another tip for yall. If u want to move one of those astroids. Enter build mode on it once its a station. Save the design bc stone is extremely strong. Change it to a smaller ship and then enter it to transport mode. Also if u find other areas or its not selling that fast. Trasnfer the cargo to ur ship and sell it urself
Ive played this on and off for 3 years up to about 1.1. Been a bit busy post then so have only just come back and my word its like a different game, I really like the changes, no more needle like ships either, now all seem to be quite beefy antagonists and I have died many times, which rarely used to happen. I don't get bothered by pirates in habited sectors now as the security response is spot on from the locals and they seem armed to the teeth. For the first time I have just built a coal mine on a rock I found, never really bothered before but the games progression now really does make you spend more time in a given sector in order to progress so I figured I may as well for once. Trouble is I have not a clue what to do with it so here I am. Also your ship is pretty, I never manage to get "pretty" out of this game, its all I can do to stop them looking like a brick generally.
I can't take credit for the ship design. Workshop is filled with great community members that have done the work for us. Helping people understand how to progress might be a good idea for a video. Thanks for the idea. Lets hope it doesn't take me to long to get around to it.
Interesting video, but you will make greater profit from simply not delivering goods to local stations, but instead allow local traders to dock and buy the goods who will deliver them to these stations. You make a much larger profit in doing so.
Hi, Thanks so much this is really helpful. I found my first Asteroid to claim. Then I found a second but cannot seem to claim it. It looks like a giant Iron asteroid. Does this mean that there are Super Ore type asteroids you cannot claim but they have a ton of ore in them and have that unique jagged shape?
Have you figured out the heat map in the map screen and how it functions? I have a theory on how that works as opposed to the demand from the upper right of the normal view screen and am looking for confirmation.
I haven't really tested to much using the function on the map to deeply. From my experience it does help you find out the demand for goods in an area. I only really find this useful while trying to off load toxic waste to NPC stations.
@@deadmemegamming My guess is the Demand (cold) -> Supply (hot) is the supply side - supply and demand, not demand side supply and demand - this would explain why it can sometimes be counter-intuitive and contradictory - I can't find anyone anywhere that can confirm this guess. Thank you very much for your response, excellent video and I'm recommending your channel to the folks on my dedicated server.
if you build your trading hub in an area with warp gates more NPC will show up. You can build trading posts or things like habitats to make more traders come as well, but consumer stations are very expensive and take a long to recoup the cost.
hi, i know you made this almost a year ago so im not expecing an answer but how does the pricing system work? i set my prices around the same % as the local economy and im getting no traders, ive got 2 stations set up both for fairly high demand materials and ive been monitoring them for about an hour now and havent gotten any traders idk what im doing wrong
Have you encountered a maximum of stations you can put in one system? iE, I'm planning to put all factorys + suppliers related to laser-tech in one system and would end up with a minimum of around 30. Is this possible and do you have any thoughts or related exp?
This happens to me in systems that have low activity. I upped my cargo space it seems to fix the problem for awhile. once more stations are there it happens much less.
Even after 700+ hours I never figured out how to make supply chains work. Thank you so much for this

@@Voltomess disasemble it in build mode, sell it to scrapyard or just shoot it

They changed the way the detector work very recently.
@@deadmemegamming Ah that's a relief. Glad I wasn't completely blind

Thx for the video, never realized about the selling and buying option off my station. Super nice.

I really like this game, I think I will play it again some time soon. Maybe cover the optional bosses.

Thanks for the explanations. Found this video from one of your posts where a redditor complained about you suggesting the video.
i recently gave it another go, has been many years, your channel helps a lot, thanks!
I am glad, once you understand the systems in the game it's a real game changer.

@@deadmemegamming Well you helped here so many thanks friend.
That ship is amazing.
very clear and useful advice :)
thanks, happy to help.
Nice vid! Haven't played in a long time and was useful to refresh my memory :)
glad to hear it.
That ship... I'm drooling
There are so many Great designs in the work shop. It's worth it to Download a few try them out in creative mode see if you like them.
@@deadmemegamming I am in the same boat as James, that ship is gorgeous, could you maybe mention the Mod, or is it your own design?
Thx for the guide video!

ok having an issue here i cant seem to get my oil factory to give goods to my plastic factory i click any of the drop downs and nothing comes up

How dangerous is it for the mines? Will they be attacked if it's more close to the centre of the factory?
How do i found a galaxy with multiple Asteroids for mines?
3:01 you used a different ship to check demand and saw water, but you made a copper mine... what was the point of this portion then?
Impressive ship. How can I get it???

Really good video! Question tho. These mass sectors are usually off the warpgate paths. That doesn't matter for the sector to get customers right?

Its not something i've encountered but stations close to each other will get traiders/effect economy in nearby systems.
How did you acquire the steel factory station? Is it something you converted an asteroid into???
It is a ship.
You check the station founder box when you build a ship
And in the top right there's a found station button when you're in that ship
I can find hidden energy but not mass do I need a different scanner? Thx.
I believe it's a deep scanner the Tool tip will say it shows them in yellow if it's correct.
Hi There,
do you also have the bug, that the station has free cargo space but doesnt produce?
This happens to me in systems that have low activity. I upped my cargo space it seems to fix the problem for awhile. once more stations are there it happens much less.
Is there a way I could get a link to that ship?
I put the destroyer in the in description. You can also look it up by searching spatha class destroyer.
after 200 hours of Avorion play I am adamant in my opinion only feature of this game is you can resize voxels and that's literally it. The GAME
How dangerous is it for the mines? Will they be attacked if it's more close to the centre of the factory?
