Thanks for these two videos! We are volunteer hosts at Ross Prairie. I'm not a mountain biker but I've walked a few of these trails after storms and stuff. It's great to experience them on a bike.
There are bobcats out here but many more bears. I have a couple game cams out and share them on my channel, if you're interested. And yeah, the hogs are horrible over towards Pruitt Trailhead, an ongoing battle. Unfortunately, we seem to have at least one that crossed over into Ross Prairie, I've caught him on the trail cams a couple time. There was a huge boar that got hit on 200 a couple months ago that was big enough that people were telling us that one of our bears had gotten hit. It looked like a bear until I got closer. ;)
Anyways, thanks again for taking me along! We love that so many enjoy the trails and the prairie.
Will be there this Saturday till Wednesday camping and riding . Thanks
I actually saw a bobcat on the Spruce Creek trails in New Smyrna this weekend. I usually only see deer and maybe opossum but this was my first bobcat.
Thanks for posting! Will be my 1st ride in February (and kayaking rainbow), after hibernating up north, and then on to alafia and boyette.
Nice video great work, can’t wait till this trail goes all the way to Dunnellon
Yeah I ran into a bunch of hog rooting mess today it was a lot of mess lol, at Big Shoals
I don't think I could, but I believe you could've did it on a gravel bike. Another great one Clint. That was funny after I sent it you mentioned gravel bikes 😄
I really enjoy your videos and love riding at San Felasco. My favorite route for these is to go to the 49th Ave trail head and hit Nayls S>earn n burn>nayls N> and then the Christmas and New Years trails
Maybe you said and I missed it, was that on a week day or weekend? Thanks for both parts, I'll have to get over there from Orlando.
Yes, on a Saturday
@@ClintGibbs Finally made it up there today. Lots of ups & downs on Nayls and some fun chutes. For sure worth a return visit. We parked at Shangila. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Hey man will you be at Santos in March for the event?
