insane timing. just got my mic to start recording today, was lost messing around with fl studio and this is the exact video i needed for the actual beginning tips necessary
@@Media622Tv @baywood appreciate both you guys! i'll definitely ask if i have questions which i most likely will 🤣 but good looks brother you have fun too
Bro you are the first one that i understand, thank goodness for you!!!!! I was struggling to understand other youtubers as a beginner i was lost i have the upgrade fl but ima check out the presets and plug in you got my like and follow hat's off to you
Yoo Jordan i just wana say thanks for the help with the videos bro you do a great job and also im subscribed to your mailing list there very encouraging appreciate you!
Can you make videos on headphones bleed and is it a problem if beat/music gets recorded in microphone while recording?? Will it be hard to mix for engineers? How much headphone bleed is okay to mix??
most engineers can deal with it, but to have the cleanest possible mix, it is best to make sure there is no headphone bleed. Just turning your headphones down would be the way to solve it
there’s a part where on the mixer channel you turned down “insert 1” . i’m assuming you were turning down the beat? if so what did you have to do the link the track one to insert one so you could change the volume
Yeah that was actually a mistake! The insert one should have been linked to the beat track but it was forgotten. You can link it the same way you'd link the vocal tracks to inserts. :)
Hey man do you have any idea of how to get rid of backround noise or like a whooshing sound every time i try to record? I know i could use smth like edison but i dont want to have to manually get rid of each take.
would you suggest using effects recording or putting 'em on afterwards? What's better? Do you think that using some effect like compressor or something while recording the vocals is essential if yes pls tell me, I'm kinda lost in that sense. I have shure and focusrite btw, Idk
I prefer recording with no effects , it’ll make you more confident in your natural voice. Then when you like the dry recording you put the effects on and it’s very rewarding
Plese can you help me, i just got some new studio equipments and i want to learn on how to grow as a music producer on FL. I need help of professionals like you, is there anyway you can help me with it?
My only problem with these videos is they kinda assume everyone is recording to an mp3. What if I have produced my beat and want to lay vocals. In the same daw and haven’t bounced out my beat yet or the beat is not an mp3 but a self produced where I would be editing as I record adding breaks drum fills chops and stuff as ideas keep comming😮
That’s okay, it’s the same goal. Mix the vocals to the music . In your case, it is better as you have more flexibility when it comes to making adjustments.
make sure your mic is pluged in and phantom power is on (48v) on your interface. select the input that your mic is on as your input source. for your general audio, your audio interface should be the input device

It depends . Do you hear it where your vocals are at too? Or is just before and after your vocals in the deadspace? Or both?
would you suggest using effects recording or putting 'em on afterwards? What's better? Do you think that using some effect like compressor or something while recording the vocals is essential if yes pls tell me, I'm kinda lost in that sense. I have shure and focusrite btw, Idk
