This is EXACTLY what is wrong with most of our politicians in Washington for the last several years.
They do not want to do the work it takes to be informed on these key issues to be able to argue their points or agendas. They get one talking point from high up and every one of them spout the same thing along the way. Perfect example -those Democratic politicians from Texas flying to Washington DC so they refuse to vote on the voter ID law. When asked " how many people in your state support the voter ID law ?? " She claimed she did not know " but I think it's probably pretty low " she was informed it was 80% of the population in her state.
