    Me and my Mrs are thinking of going on holiday to Nosy Be. Is it a good holiday destination for a couple who aren't exactly rolling in it please?

      Yes it's a fantastic place where you can have a cheap holiday it's just the flights that are expensive.
      You can fly to nosy be or to Antananarivo then fly from Antananarivo to Nosy Be the flight costs $150 per person each way.
      You can go from Antananarivo to Nosy Be by road but it can be a long trip by bus maybe 2 days to 3 days

    every time i see roads i think how the hell were French able to construct all roads with only 3 million Malagasy and now when they are 30 million they can't fix even roads already built
    and they would build higway...yea right

    • @davidvincent2758
      @davidvincent2758 Рік тому

      The French did conquer the states of the Malagasy and built the roads for their own purposes not for the people, no wonder that the Malagasy fell for socialism when the French were gone and everything became worse - first European colonialism then European ideology and always poverty - this history isn’t motivating at all 🤷🏻‍♂️

      @@davidvincent2758 sure French built roads for their own purpose...but that doesn't explain why Malgache let their quite good infrastructure for a time and let it rot for decades....socialism cost them dearly Madagascar is one of few countries experiencing absolutely no progress from time of colonialism
      It reminds me a lot on Philippines which were second most developed country in Asia,only Japan was reacher...now they are one of poorest
      but don't get me wrong,i like Madagascar the way it is

      @@danieleverywhere132 yes socialism and corruption - colonialism and socialism brought corruption (socialism did the same in Europe too)
