Hi Nikki! I love Clarins too and used to actually work behind the counter for them many years ago. For the Body Oils, here's what you're supposed to do: Shower like usual, using all of your regular products that you normally would. When you're done with your shower, dry off mostly, leaving the skin a little damp still. To do this, I just blot my skin dry with a towel instead of rubbing it all the way dry. Then take a little bit of the Clarins oil and apply to your skin in long sweeping motions. Clarins says to always sweep towards the heart, so for legs you would sweep from feet to waist; for arms you would sweep from hand to shoulder, etc. Once you're done applying the oil, turn the shower back on and make sure the water is tepid--not too hot, not too cold. Then, just step back into it for a few seconds. The cool water instantly helps the oil absorb deeply into the skin. I literally step in, twirl in a circle a couple of times and then get back out. All other body skincare goes on next and the Clarins Oil will actually help carry your body serums or other treatment deeper into the skin. It's wonderful and actually one of the 6 original products Jacques Courtin-Clarins invented in 1954. All the best! Micah

Love your video! I know the body oil directions can be a bit confusing, you are supposed to shower, apply the oil, then hop back in and rinse with cool water because it helps tighten the skin. I have been using this for a few years and out of sheer laziness and the lack of appeal when it comes to rinsing in cool water, I did not use it right. Now I have just started to actually use it the way I am supposed to and I see it works much better 😉😉
Great video and very nice product reviews. I have used Clarins for a long time and love the products they make.
I think with the body oil, it is ok to put it on after the shower and leave it. Rinsing it with cool water is just to take the excess off so you aren’t greasy. You shouldn’t wash it off. And you don’t have to rinse it off if you aren’t feeling greasy.

Do you like the Clarins Super Restorative Night Cream/Day Cream? Or do you prefer the extra firming line?
Clarins is a wonderful brand that uses natural plant extracts in their range. Each product has its own smell according to the ingredients in the formulation, it is not an artificial chemical smell that is in so many beauty products. Anyone that does not like fragrance at all in their skincare maybe clarins is not for them,there are other brands that are fragrance free. I have been using clarins for a long time and i think my skin is great for 51,it can be sensitive at times so there are products that can help from cleansing to the double serum. Personally clarins would not be clarins if it were not for smell,all natural so should be fine for sensitive skin. I adore that clarins care about our environment also. Your skin look lovely and has a glow that looking after your skin brings, love the extra firming range too.
Thanks for sharing your age and that you feel the product had helped you. I also love your discussion about fragrance and that they are more natural and eco-friendly. Those are the most important to me. ; )
You gotta use the face scrubs on dry skin for the comfort, and damp skin for the fresh and pure scrub

Clarins amazing
I love clarins, I’ve recently started investing in their products but I find that they haven’t got a lot of ‘younger skin’ products. I love the double serum and V shaping but the consultant said it’s probably too heavy and won’t be doing much at this age. I’m 23. ☺️
Hey Jenna! I currently work for Clarins and the double serum and v shape are amazing! It’s always good to start anti aging at a young age! We also do have a My Clarins line which is targeted towards younger skin! I’m 21 myself and I love using my double serum, I don’t think it will be too heavy for your skin. I recommend to use it at night time because I find myself getting oily when I use the double serum during the day. Hope this helps!!

Beauty advisor with Clarins here! I am 24 and have been using Clarins for a few years now. The Multi Active range is great for mid-twenties to 30s. Their MyClarins line is perfect for teens and young adults. It’s all vegan, paraben free, organic plant extracts. It’s great! Double serum is something you should continue to use! It’s like a multi vitamin for your skin. The v shape is really for contouring the face, so for more round face gals or puffiness from over indulging, etc. ☺️
@@anaisbaeza8250 hey I was recommended to try Bright Plus. I started when I was 20 and it's working great for my oily/combination skin. But bright plus only has lotions and serums. I do use the face scrub and toning lotion but what is the milk for?
Is the v shaping a serum too? I use double serum and i love it! It moisturise my skin beautifully. If v shaping is a serum as well, is it worth having both of those products? Dont you guys just use 1 serum?
The scent is due to their aromaphyto care.
All the people that I know that use Clarins have beautiful skin.
You can mix many products to add to their efficacy. For example you can use the body.oils mixed with your lotion. Tonic body polish is amazing. They are naturally scented. Your skin will be as smooth as a babys bum. Do the exfo on slightly damp skin. The oils are 100% natural. You can shower, do on damp skin and cool rinse off, i mix it with body lotion when lazy.
Love Clarins! I’ve been a fan since the 90’s. I feel like it doesn’t get the love here in the U.S. that it deserves. It really is gorgeous skincare.
Current favs are the yellow toner, Hydra essential silk cream, and blue orchid oil!
Love most of the products but the one I used yesterday burned my skin. No lie, it’s still burned.

I’ve been using Clarins products since I was 18. Some are brilliant, superior products that really work. Not a fan of the exfoliants either, and some products are way too scented.
Two years later, does he still fart that way?
