Had one of these - absolutely bullet proof - I got it with 105k miles and it was absolutely immaculate even then. This was when Škoda made sense - had a few Felicias too. Loved them.
Glad to hear it was so good even at the higher mileage! We definitely speak highly of them, a good engine and just a decent overall build, certainly better than some people gave them credit for!
The early ones do seem rare especially! But I don't think I've seen another one just "on the road" outside of shows for a very long time! We did find one parked up in Cardiff maybe 5 years ago, I can't recall seeing one just parked up like that since either...
