Friends! Sorry in advance for some of the shop audio in this video - still learning how to use my new microphones and adjust them to combat the background noise of my heater. I promise this will get better with practice! Thanks for being awesome! 💕
*I was able to use the stop to cut my pieces all the same **MyBest.Tools** Only let the blade come to a complete stop before lifting it back up otherwise it might 'catch' the work and inadvertently move the stop. Used a second clamp for holding.*
Very well done ! I’m a retired Woodworker that Makita saw is one of the very best ever made IMO you are by far one of the prettiest Woodworkers I’ve seen the dog segment was very funny it’s amazing how almost all dogs know that plastic bag sound years ago living inSouth Florida we took in a abandoned litter of kittens that were all brothers and sisters the group couldn’t decide if they wanted to live inside or out and for some reason despite them having their own bed decided that they did prefer to sleep not only on my bed but in my spot at my bedtime to make sure they alll were safely inside the house I used to stand by the front door with a electric can opener running untill the cats all came running to investigate the sound ironically they were on dry food and I had only fed them one canned food I mixed in medications with but they remembered that sound ! And honestly I liked their Purring noises when I slept under the covers with the gang of them
Hi!! I’m new from the collaboration you did with DIY Danie. I just subscribed to your channel!! I LOVE what you did with your Miter saw. We actually bought a miter saw table. It is NOTHING compared to what you created here. Later, maybe in 6-8 months I should have my shed and I’m definitely building this miter saw cabinet!! Girl!! I’m so glad that there are other ladies channels out there that build!! I’m so excited to see more of your videos!!
This miter saw work bench was my second wood working project ever... and it turned out fantastic! During Covid, I finally started the hobby that I have dreamt about for years! I found the instructions and material list from your website very easy to follow. This changed my life! After this project, I also made the barn door you made for my bedroom, a second workbench for my new table saw, an outdoor shower, bench for the outdoor shower, a cedar planter box with privacy screen and a geometric feature wall! Thanks so much for your videos! Keep up to great work!
I've been watching your crafts for 2 years, and You are amazing! From Moscow, Russia with love!) Thank You so much for everything that You share with us! )
An exciting addition to your professional looking workshop. Seriously liked your door hanging solution. Lastly, looks very clean without any protruding door handles. Good work.
Excellent work and a very enjoyable video. Especially like how you incorporated "mistakes" into your build with creativity. I have had to do that more than once myself. LOL. BTW - the false front idea. Not gonna lie, I'm going to be using that from time to time. Great idea. [3/4" birch plywood? That would cost a million dollars here and I bet it weighs a lot!]
Hi Sam! I couldn't list all the things I like about this project, it would just be too long! Great job!!! Saving all these shop videos for the spring, when I start my 9x11 shop! Thank you, thank you for this!! Those shop Puppies, though!!!!!! Beautiful!
I'm in the process of buying a house with a large garage and had plans of making a permanent miter saw table/stand. After watching this I've pitched that idea out the window and going with this mobile style! Keep up the amazing work! Also, love the shoes. I wear my Vans all the time. : )
I am inspired by your awesome miter stand to make more projects out of my medium-sized plywood leftovers. Thanks for sharing the process including the lemons to lemonade moments and congrats on your awesome new miter saw station. Also: yes to more Sour Patch Kids.
Pretty cool build .. I actually build my own kitchen Island here in Jamaica 🇯🇲 a few days back and I felt so proud.. so when I say I know how good you feel, it’s genuine.. LOVE IT 💯
This is really an impressive mitre station. Thanks for sharing the video. You'll have to hurry to win the combat with the noise of your heater. Soon you will not turn that on anymore. Now that your dogs already know the difference between food and hardware you can give them some other tasks.
My miter saw was my first tool too! And just like you I have been dreaming of a miter saw station as well. It’s all those other projects that get in the way. But mine will be built soon enough. Thanks for the inspiration!
I'm so happy for you! I loved the way a mistake turned out to be an opportunity. I think the extra storage was a win. It looks great! Also, I loved the magic trick! 🤣 Way to go girl!
Hi Sam, congrats on your new miter saw workstation. I like the integration of the shop vac, always wondered how to do that without doing a lot of wiring. I also like your emphasis on making the workstation your own, according to one's own needs and miter saw. Great Job!
I think DIY Godness is the more exactly name for this channel! WOW! Can you build a second one and send it to Germany :D ... I realy love it and will build exactly this one for my mitre saw!!!
dang I've been putting off making a new miter saw station but maybe this was my sign to get working on it! lol also that's a neat trick with the clamp for the cabinet doors
Aw, that was so sweet Sam. I loved the entire video. Loved your dogs too. I have a 22 lbs mean male cat you can have too :) Keep up the great work. We love you on this channel.
Awesome build Sam! Been working on one myself. Sadly my TBI keeps me so indecisive i have redesigned it almost a billion times and still haven't started the actual build. Keep up the amazing work
No - it’s just going to get beat up anyway. Wanted to invest my time wisely on this one. Should be good in the shop. Never had an issue with plywood in here before. 😊
First time UA-cam recommended your channel and I have to say, I love it. I do have a question. Where did you learn all of this? You seem very young and better than 99% of the other channels out there
So inspired by this build! It looks awesome! Okay super important question-Your nails always look so clean and polished! What nail treatment/polish/routine do you do?! Since I started woodworking, I stopped polish all together because it always got ruined. Tell me your secrets! :)
Thank you! I actually have a really bad nail biting problem, so I always have my nails done cause it’s the only thing that stops me from biting. 😖 I use this company called Dashing Diva. Don’t love the name, but love the product!

Are you planning on putting edge banding on? I would suggest it, if you live in a humid climate.
No - it’s just going to get beat up anyway. Wanted to invest my time wisely on this one. Should be good in the shop. Never had an issue with plywood in here before. 😊
Please do a rolling pin on the lathe if you ever get a chance! 🙂
If your shop helpers 🐺 were not so darn cute,it mite be time to find some new helpers

Thanks so much for the love! I'm going to be releasing a Q&A soon to answer a bunch of FAQs (including that one)! Hope you'll stick around for it!
Are you able to adjust your miter saw fence outwards for bevel and compound cuts?
Yep! No issues! Just have to remove the actual saw fence for bevels, as per usual. 😊
Quick and easy...just wish I had space for it 😔 rockler has those vac plugs?
Yes! I have a direct link in the blog post under my materials list, if you are interested! ☺
so legit!!!
