Thanks for taking the time to go slow over the important part of every benchmark being THE ACTUAL SETTINGS not the minute of game play that follow. So often bench-markers race past the settings in 2 seconds and or have overlay on top of the resolution and how fast the screen is set a refreshing / critical info!
Its annoying as F in other peoples clips, to have to be ready to smash the space bar to pause or back arrow then pause to see this info. So for that you've earned a like.. being logical.

Watching this video this August 31,2020. I am just curious why a 6- core cpu is used in gtx 960?Also, gtx 1050 temps are real high reaching to 80 degrees? I have a zotac gtx 1050 and my max temp is only 63 deg celsius.

Why did you pair the 960 with a better cpu? Both 1050s are using quad core but the 960 has 6.
And it makes difference? GTA V uses only 4 cores, the FPS is the same for both CPUs.

A g4400 paired with a 1050 gives me 30 fps on high settings and somehow your 9th gen i5 can't? This looks not correct.

these GPUs can do forza horizon 4 on medium and high at stable 60fps from my experience so you could push them even harder. and looks like in world war z it could be on high too. :) I recommend for 1080p gaming at least 4GB of vRAM. i had gtx 960 2GB with 1024 CUDA cores and it was bad card but when i had 1050ti that has 4GB but 768 CUDA cores, it was better in every game. (i know, tesla vs pascal, it is different technology) In gta 5 with 960 2GB on medium and high settings about 60fps and with gtx 1050ti 4GB on very high settings it had 70fps. but 960 4GB is still good card.

No reason for you to upgrade to these cards as the upgrade isnt very much, a proper upgrade would be a 1070 and higher.....
if you want, buy any 4GB VRAM VGA, like GTX1050 TI, RX570, RX560, or even newer cards like GTX 1650 Super, RX5500

Revaria kaiser it depends which gpu you have I have 16gb of ram, an i7 2600 and a 1050ti I run fortnite at a consistent 120-210 FPS in creative and in battle Royale in busy places it drops down to around 60-80 but in open areas it can go to over 144 and above

1050ti is now good compared cost per frame. even i have the 1050ti in my test pc with old core 2 quad Q9550, but it can hold wither 3 and other games on high fps. also overclocking the card can iprove it.

@@dragoscornoiu3401 That alone depends on driver support really. Both 960 and 1050ti will be mostly be abandoned by NVIDIA considering how they treat older cards from the past. But 1050ti has somewhat better driver support hence some few games here and there have better performance than a 960 even tho the 960 is 8-10% more faster than the 1050ti in terms of synthetic benchmarks.

I have 960 on my desktop and 1050 4gb on my laptop. But my desktop runs x2 better than my laptop. Why is it like that? (Btw my laptop's processor is better and my desktop only have 2x4 ddr3 but my laptop has 2x8)

@@Nege97 The mobile version of the GTX 1050 is exactly the same as the desktop version. The problem is cooling. The card runs way hotter in a laptop, so it runs at lower speeds most of the time. That's why your 960 is so much faster, and the fact that the GTX 960 is a faster card by itself, as seen in this video.

Bruh, this is not accurate at all. I get 60+ fps on Forza horizon 4 with ultra settings on my 960 while this guy gets 90 fps on the lowest settings. I am probably getting more than triple the performance of this guy.
