I use a 3 ft piece of 2 inch pvc water pipe, to water my plants in the back. No back door or crawling. Just put one end in the pot and water from the other end. I call it my water pipe slide..😂 works great

Spray silicone on the zipper track all the way you normally run them. Definitely will help with poorly stitched zipper tracks.

I used a candle just rub the candle or soap round the zip both sides zip closed and open zip and rub candle over that makes a difference its an old grandmas trick but works wax or non prpumed soap.

One thing that helps for soil temp in a tent that is in a basement, if your pot sits on the ground - not raised beyond a drip tray, is to use high density foam tiles under the tent. These tiles are widely available. Some people who have kids may be familiar with the puzzle piece edge they have to connect them together.

    Pigeons video yesterday was baller.
If you don't have rhe money to set up a room legitimately a tent will be better, but if money is not your limiting factor a room can be super advanced compared to a tent. Plus something about being in a room to work on your plants is really soothing.

I'm currently doing a mini pheno hunt to find a couple keepers, 10 plants, 6 different strains in a 5×5 and have room for a few more. Vegged for 2 months from seed. All 10 plants are completely different in looks, terps and height. Already spotted maybe 2 keepers. And have 5 cuts from each for the next run.

Hey guys, always great. If you want more height the gorilla starts 11” taller than every other tent plus you can buy 1 and 2 foot extensions. You were talking about zippers and flaps gorilla have the strongest zippers with the biggest flaps amd front and rear doors. They’re more expensive than they need to be but they are much better quality thicker as well. Migrow did a tent wall reflectivity test the Vivosun was the best, the gorilla had a 4 point drop but the ac infinity had I think roughly 75 point drop in reflectivity. All my new interior gear is ac but my tent is gorilla. My previous tent was a visparspectra it work just fine. I’m not trying to sell anything just share my experience as well. Have good grow guys, thank you for sharing all your knowledge.

I have green hut 4x8 and 4x4, they are 78 inches tall giving you plenty of canopy room for big filters and fans with pleny of room to move lights up for those tall plants. Got LGECON 420w led lights, discontinued panels being rebranded and sold for 150. 3 lights, 2 of them in the 4x8 and remaining in the 4x4. Attached to smart plugs to set light schedule. Grow tents are all about climate control, you can dial them in and you are done. Just cycling plants in and out after that.

The grow I have now are 4 Banana Daddy in a 3x3. I vegged 4 weeks and flipped to flower. All four plants were 3 inches above my screen when I flipped and 3 of them grew another 18 inches during flower but one decided it was gonna go another 4 foot.
The only thing I could do was to bend the tops down and try to slide them between the other plants branches. Everything is going fairly well and Im on day 38 of flower.

Ac infinity is great, however their grow tents not so much I have 2. I ordered them 1 month apart and received 2 different styles 1 has a cover over the outside front zipper and the other doesn't. This fixes the light leak on the front , but not on the side zippers. Light leaks are terrible on these tents. Other then that I guess there OK but with light leaks are they really ok? I think next time I will be investing in a gorilla grow tent these are hands down the best quality.

Hello, Sorry for the long comment. It’s more of a question. I’m a relatively new home grower since 2020. I’m a disabled Army Veteran and was having trouble getting to the back plants in my 5x5 grow tent. I do not have the ability to perform “tent yoga” due to my disability. I developed method to access all of my plants without having to get up out of my chair and while being able to maximize my grow space. I can feed and train my plants from the comfort of my chair while listening to this program. When I heard that other people are struggling with “tent yoga” and not just people with disabilities; I realized that there is a definite need for what I came up with. My question is: where do you go or who does someone speak to about new developments/ possible ground breaking inventions in the grow tent industry? Thank you in advance.

Unless its for legal reasons or some personal reason you have, going with more plants and some aggressive trimming/training is best to fill the area.
People over complicate this issue, its really just a simple question of filling the area in which the light hits and the time it takes to do it.
You can do 1 plant and veg for 3 months, 2 plants and veg for 1.5 months, OR you can fill the floor space with smaller plants, trim them to grow like "lolli pops", veg for 2 week and then throw them into flower.
All will yield very similar results, only one did the job in a fraction of the time of the others.
The key is propper trimming and training of the plants, if you throw lots of plants into a small tent and dont trim them and let them all just grow as they wish, sure it will be a mess with lots of whispy shit on the plant as it wasnt propperly looked after, and to that I say, "have you ever vegged a plant for months and never trimmed or trained it?" because you have the exact same problem there.

Light leakage is not a major concern. I do outdoor with lights around not on top of just on the edges . No issues so if outdoors does ok with a little light so can the tents
A pin hole light leak is a joke. And tabs on the zippers constantly twist ac infinity

if you can grow coral in a 100 gallons of water you can grow anything. Its the hardest thing I have ever done and the most rewarding. But takes years to get a full tank with good growth. I think my understanding in reef tanks has made cannabis growing much easier to understand. Kind of the opposite. You contantly are trying to keep nitrogen or nitrates at a certain low level where with cannabis you add small amounts. Fish add the nuts you just have to figure out how to filter the excess nuts. Its a challenge and a 24/7 job but again if you can grow live coral in your home is a small amount of water compared to the OCEAN yeah you can grow anything

I disagree rob, I have 0 contractor exp and suck at building shit but if you can get spray foam insulation it’s dumb easy. Only place air can escape is under the door which is easy to make air tight. The important part is a mini split because it doesn’t get air from outside, it conditions the air already existing. 50LB co2 tank has lasted me a year so far. Min co2 I run is 800 up to 1350 during stretch plus a week or so then I slowly dial it back to 800 by week 10

a 5x5 gorilla tent is the same price as a door at home depot. All rooms need a door. So building a room is expensive compared to a tent, it also will take days vs 30 minutes to build. so other than hiding the grow its a no brainer. Its legal in most states now so no need to hide it
