Well done video, I really like that you are still going strong on the APS-C setup and didn’t follow the „I must have full frame to be competitive“ trend 👌🏻

thank you! Yea I'm still a strong supporter of APSC and truly believe you can get v far with "medium" level gear - that doesn't mean I'll never upgrade but it'll likely be the newest sony APSC 7000 or whatever it is once it (hopefully) comes out

thanks! I actually havent tried it - I remember seeing it when deciding on what zoom lens to buy and ended up with the tamron because it has a bigger zoom range - do you have one?

@@JimmyShixin I do! I actually bought the tamron as well but decided it was too big. The sigma is much smaller and from what I could tell the picture quality was the same.

What do you mean over exaggerated? In my experience APSC and most their lenses are much lighter which is why I like using it for travel photography

What preset you use on photos ? There are amazing . i have sigma 18-50 with a6400 thinking selling it for tamron 17-70 but im confused if worths

I use watchluke's presets mostly!
See how much you can sell the lens for, then see how kuch the tamron is and decide if the money is worth the extra 20mm

Super noob question but how are you getting F5 on a F2.8 lens?

No problem, gotta start somewhere 📸
So the F number that comes with the lens is actually the LOWEST possible F value, where it lets in the most light - this is also what they mean with the lens is "wide open" and therefore letting in the most light. A side effect of this is that the backgrounds blurry and pictures brighter.
So this means that you actually have all F values ABOVE the lowest F number. So for my F2.8 lens its LOWEST aperture is F2.8, but you can also shoot it at F4, F8 etc
