Hey Levy, great game! Just wanted to let you know that Stockfish 14+NNUE says you missed #46 at depth 49 when you didn't en passant his f4 pawn.
Completely winning position
This is why nobody likes stockfish lol
He should've known better to always en passant
Yeah why not taking en passant anyway doesnt matter what stockfish says
Yeah thats what everyone saw, levy is just an idiot
The title is how I felt when I first beat Nelson with 40% accuracy
whos nelson?
@@LK25278 chess, com 1300 bot, famous for destroying lots of lower rated players with his queen play (Wayward Queen Attack, Napoleon Attack ... )
When Levy and stockfish will make a peace deal, chess will get a new level
I tought their peace deal was cheater content
@@dieeismaschine7641 haha n1
They will drop chess 2.0
Similar feelings of being stockfish sometimes, but after analysing I can see myself hanging four pieces in one move.
13:33 "i thought i was doing everything right, why is the game not over??"
- things i ask myself when i lose a rook in the opening
this is just so accurate
I hope you get your IM norm to get your second IM title , maybe with 3 IM titles you could get a GM one

This was a great game, sharp opening, was a joy to watch, keep it up
u haven’t even seen the video lmao
@@nigeltheduck1751 there is a livestream but ok
Yeah
@@nigeltheduck1751 yea the real ones watch it live. (I am not a real one cuz homework is a bitch)
Good to see your confidence growing and thus your instincts and results
This 👍
Huuuuuuuu
Pin of good positive comment
Levy showing us how much of chess is based on your mentality. Glad Lucy is there for him. Good luck in the rest of your games Levy and keep up that confidence!
Also, from the perspective of a 500 rated player. It appears his board vision has slightly improved
16:56 You dont need to calculate, you are a cultured Man, you take En passant.
Everyone was going "Illegal move" when you didn't en passant.
Levy is my favourite streamer,he is humorous, and definitely a GM when teaching
I can hear hikaru laughing far far away XD
@@le_gus001 Hikaru is a superGM that's a different class
That’s true. There aren’t many streamers who are not only technically proficient but who are also entertaining.
@@joeb4142 in terms of pure entertainment AND educational videos in the chess community, no one comes close to Levy
We should really appreciate him more
@@Youssef-zo3ls spittin fax
Congrats on the win!
Now think about what you said at the onset of the video.
"My opponent for this round was crushing the GM".
The only thing preventing you from crushing the GM is yourself.
Kill that thought.
GL for the next round Levy.
"Pretty decently"? Dude, Stockfish gave you a 92.1 score!
4:19 Levy: "castling is going to be a knight-mare"
I see what you did there ;)
Watching these recaps just make me so proud for some reason, his improvement can really be seen as you compared this tournament to the last few tournament recaps! Props to Levy for trusting his own ideas and play these creative and aggressive moves.
"I have become Stockfish, the destroyer of worlds"
14:45 it’s these kind of analogies that really truly help me when I play my own games
Big up Levy! Loving the confidence you’ve grown over the tournament - you’re doing great and we’re all repping you all the way!
Chess is brutal . You never know when your position can crumble with one single move that you missed or overlooked and it just destroys you mentally
Stockfish : levy is wrong. You missed a win
Levy : stockfish is saying that I'm wrong. Stockfish is an idiot
Alpha zero : well you are both wrong.
LMAO😂😂😂
My three favorite series Levy makes is tournament recap, Levy’s tournament recap, and how to win at chess. Awesome recap.
Happy Easter everyone
God bless everyone who reads this
Have a great Lords Day
You too !
What about Guess the Elo
It has been four days that im sick because i got really high temperature and during my days these recaps are my best enjoiments, thanks a lot levy
hope you recover soon :)
I'VE SEEN LEVY MORE THEN MY FAMILY
227th day of translating Levy's titles into Neapolitan: "So' Stockfish"
Dissento: andrebbe tradotto anche stoccafisso
I like being over 1000 people right back and sometimes after I blunder something the guy will immediately blunder back
Entertaining game. Your frustration at his failure to roll over and die near the end was hilarious. Certainly relatable for a lot of us no matter the rating.
He is stockfish
Levy has become his nemesis
dude, stockfish is over 3000 elo, dont worry about not playing every single move like it, you would have to be 3000 elo for that.
This was a great win, we are all proud of you :)
The name is Fish... Stockfish.
Saw the title and was like you gotta walk me through that one pal
Good to see Levy doing well in the tournament, even though there's no GM norms up for grabs building your confidence is super important. Super psyched!
Man I feel like it's been forever since we've seen a confident Recap Title. I think this tourney is huge for building confidence
Seeing chat go absolutely ape s*it on the non taken en passant with check was so good, that it almost forgives the offense on not doing so, gg well played good luck on the next round!
Happy easter everyone!
It's so crazy that it's really never too late to lose a game in chess. Or on my 3 digit ranking to still win a game
Get the brick!!!!!!
Recap 3 > Levy: Stockfish thinks, I'm an idiot! But i think Stockfish is an idiot, so we have a very abusive relationship!
Recap 5 > Levy: I AM STOCKFISH! 😂😂😂
"Castling is gonna be a knightmare"
Levy is finally playing at the level of an FM. Most impressive.
Wild ass game jeeze Levi going ballistic
12:30 - I feel like this happens so much with Queen 's pawn openings. All White has to do is play safe and their position will be equal for 25 moves, despite having no development and barely any threat beyond the queen.
I'd love to see some answers to queen's pawn openings that don't allow such a passive playstyle.
against the queen's gambit, try the semislav. basically you threaten to take on c4 and keep the pawn, so either white has to gambit it or protect it with e3 and you get an active position after kicking the bishop with b5, put your bishop on b7, looking for a pawn break on c5, etc.
I’m very happy for Levy but even more I’m just relieved.
I'm procrastinating going into church with a gotham chess recap
If you see the ratings of the oponents you think the results have to be the way it is but his recaps show that the 2100/2200 players arent a free win.
I want to report LEVI ROZMAN to principals office
I love how Levy acts like he’s not thinking “how is this going to play out in the recap?” Whenever en Passant is possible 😂
I feel like a junkie checking the channel every 5 min for the next recap
Levys games are like an empty pizzabox. When u see it u get excited but later on u will be dissapointed.
Chess sometimes hangs on the thinnest of knife edges.
Dude is the chess embodiment of "Never let them know your next move" meme.
I love the recaps but you should have the evaluation bar and/or stock fish on screen so we can follow your thought process a little more.
This game was amazing to see live! Chat was incredibly hyped. I'm really looking forward to you game against Gabriela Antova in 30 minutes, I caught the tail end of her game against David Berczes yesterday and she squeezed out an amazing win.
min13:15 after pawn to b4 knight to f4 is a very interesting idea!! ... if he doesn't take than knight to d3 is a winning monster knight... but if he takes with the g pawn than queen takes bishop with attack on rook and winning... bishop to h3 open d file for black rooks. But even if he takes knight with the e pawn than a discovery on the queen with pawn to e3 destroys white after a couple of moves.....
knight to f4 could also prepared with rook to d1........
Levy: Much love if you made it through twenty four and a half minutes of this video!
Me, watching every video on double speed:
Stonkfish
That looked like a fun game
16:10 actually the analogy falls.. because that's what dominos do
Love the recaps after watching the streams.
Love these recaps
I have a feeling that Levy's going to be a gm soon
Good luck Levy
You know Levy is happy when he says get out of here
I can't believe all he said just to say he played H for
Thx for explaining concello
I am become Stockfish, the destroyer of boards.
Nobody can not love the thumbnails. Awesome job man 🤘
Imagine you know nothing about chess and you find a video named "I AM STOCKFISH" lol
Congrats, Levy! Awesome win.
Levy I'm stockfish
In your dreams
Levy can definitely become a GM.
The analysis when you recap your own games is probably the best i've ever seen Keep doing this!!!
At least your opponent has a real job !
"smashing a roach" chess, but you nicely shored up the king-side and rolled in the tanks, nice temperament and great narrative. (no reference to current events - that's pure evil)
I love that it's instantly obvious if he won or lost based on his face at the beginning. Proud of you, Levy!
Congrats Levy
No levy, you are a human
Yeah, I too used to think that chess was hard, but then I beat a guy that was 300 elo higher than me, so now I am just a chess God. At least until my next match.
Wow levy wins with great opening line preparation
7:22 h5 decision in the opening took 10 to 15 minutes off your clock... And you had at least two equally good options with less to calculate. I wonder if classical chess is like Moriarty vs. Sherlock. He saw that you will probably not play any obvious move because you pause on your decision (unless you dismiss your train of thought in the end) so he will look for all the novel moves and their refutation. Can you wear your oponent down by just taking 5 minutes to do the best move according to opening theory instead of instantly?
Thank you for all these recaps. Good to see your chess with higher confidence when surprises comes
dam this title put a smile on my face
I am stockfish wit that cover funy
Hey Levy, I really hope you see this message. I've been struggling with depression for a long time, and I got into a chess as a way of escape, but very recently it turned into me setting goals for myself. I set a goal to reach 600 rating in blitz and I finally did it! but then I fell back to around 550 and have been losing games with accuracies of 29 percent sometimes. I mean, I'm technically retarded. But you helped me in one video where you said "You can do this!"
I believe you were referring to puzzles and how you could improve your puzzle rating. Often, I am very guilty of "I can't" do anything, because I keep only seeing results of failure. But the two times that I said "Ok Sean, you CAN do this" and I attempted puzzle rush, I beat my previous best score.
I think that what you need... what you really need, is to believe that you CAN become a grandmaster! You can! I believe in you man!
These recaps have been very entertaining! 😁
Better to replace Stockfish with Levy for analysing games who is more understanding of our failures unlike stockfish which delights in tearing our confidence down 🙂 . Heart of silicone indeed .
Watching the ending on your stream was the most fun I've had on a stream without a streamer on it.
I get the feeling you got after this game. Sometimes I play a great (I think) game, saving pgn, thinking 'omg I'm gonna show it to my friends to brag a bit, rewatch it to regain confidence after some bad losses' stuff like that. Then I turn on analysis and engine says like 'here you made a mistake but your opponent didn't capitalize on it', 'here you had a better way to convert an advantage', 'here you were +5 but after that dumb move you're ONLY +1,5'.. and I think like ookay engine, nothing to brag about in this case then ;(. But still, a win is a win damn it :D
This many daily uploads really is a treat
I think you do a great job explaining when you are showing lines you were just calculating but didn't happen, vs when you are showing what actually happens. While I might like to have the eval bar with the game always visible in that different layout, It is definitely not a necessity for me. :)
4:20 you mean, a knightmare ?
Good evening here I'm Shame, your gotham chess assistant. Today we're going to not play a tournament because we aren't a fish who's good at chess. Good luck on living your life normaly and bad. Don't have a good day.
Man what a tournament you're having
Levy, you are human not a damn fish in stocks okay...
good job Levy
Conclusion: Levy is not stockfish
Levy: "Stockfish thinks I am an idiot. I think Stockfish is an idiot"
Also Levy: "I am Stockfish!"
shut up
The thumbnail alone deserves all the likes this video gets
Old games and IM games are far better to watch. Most GMs play like computers, but old GMs and IMs generate more desequilibrated games and you really don't know what is gonna happen
The best thing about chess is it it’s not pay to win
