Cool upgrade - but where did that bolt-on trailer hitch come from? Looks like you can put it on and take it off as you need as it uses the existing attachment points on the bumper
I have the M7 catch can, but can't find a real good place to mount it. I noticed you have the cheap cardboard thing removed on it. does that make a difference with engine bay temps?
The filter construction has been tested and proven to work and survive in every climate. They have been in service for decades. No problem what so ever.
Not unless you are at 6000 RPM all day. For street use daily driver it will be just fine. These are not race cars, just very quick street cars for what they are.
M7 Speed It needs 1 pull in summertime to hit 53°C intake temp and that's the point where engine power gets reduced. Upgraded intercooler is a must for stage 2, im happy with my Wagner competition. Anyway I get your point, no offense! regards from Germany.
IloveBaklava I have a 2012 countryman s all4 and I absolutely love it. Super reliable, haven’t had any huge issues with it. Just regular maintenance, super fun to drive as well. Also does amazing in snow/rain (if you have to deal with that)
@@LorenzoClara97 My 2013 R61 had broken gearbox in stock condition after around 50t km. Stage 1 the flywheel was broken and the clutch worn out. The R61 Cooper S All4 was the most unreliable car I ever had although I loved it and I didn't hit it hard every day. Keep it stock or get a car with more power. That's my advice.
@@robgen9758 this ☝🏽....honestly 200-210hp is enough to keep this car on par with competition, and similar times as the small mini I’m assuming. On my r60 doing the silicon piping, bigger inter cooler, heat shield catch can, and maybe get a custom cut hole on hood like the smaller mini. See a lot of guys running meth kits also
Just got a intake today and getting ready to install :)
Do yall still do minis? I've got a Mini cooper countryman 2012 base and I was hoping to get some more power on it and lower it, I'm in Maryland.

Jeff Garrad They do them there at M7
Is your shop still around? Trying to find a shop to do some work on a countryman next year.
Does the intake not suck in hot air from the engine bay?
Turbo engines get their air from the intercooler which is cooled exhaust air, which is hotter than ambient engine bay

This is a 5 year old clip but I wish you woulda started it up and let hear and see some performance figures
Oh bet 🥳about to get one
Does this intake not suck hot air from engine?
cold air doesnt matter so much with turbos as the air goes through an intercooler
@@wolfgagger good point
I have an 2013 mini cooper countryman all 4S here in NC and would loved to have you guys build it up!
Devon,
Devon, email me at tom.long@m7speed.com. I will help all I can. I have the same car minus the A4.

first year with the b48?
I was curious how the open air element would suffice down here in the humid FL air.

Really? Factory intercooler?
Stage 2 with stock intercooler? The temps will be awefull...

@@robgen9758 how many hp with just stage one on a r60 jcw?
@@LorenzoClara97 Around 230hp. But keep in mind that the flywheel and the clutch suck on the r60/r61 models...

Are the 2012s super unreliable? Looking to buy a used countryman.
