Hi. Thanks for the comment. Not sure about the UK but here is a link to the M7 site. Send them a question and I'm sure they'll respond with a list of their UK distributors. It's a great hitch. Make sure you decide if you want the 1-1/4" or the 2".
I have a 2015 Countryman ALL4 that I have been thinking about doing this for. I have definitely yielded high utility value from my mini, but this would unlock a whole other level with the towing capability for a small utility trailer. What did you use your hitch for?
Hi Mike, I bought the hitch from someone selling it as a 2" Hitch. When I got it, I noticed it was the original M7 1-1/4" x 1-1/4". I need a 2" Hitch, so I sold this one and made a video about it first. I need a 2" hitch to mount a Cinemilled Support bracket and mount a Ronin R2 Stabilized Camera Gimbal for work. ( I shoot movies and Music videos for a living.)
@@letsdrive3943 Woah! That's really cool! I am very interested in all the videos you have made and the modifications you have done. I live up in MA so there are a lot of pot holes taken on during the springtime. In the 4 years I have had the car I lost 4 tires to potholes. I am having my first set of non-runflats installed at the end of the week that I am looking forward to. The strut bar will probably happen in the next couple months for me. I am thinking I will add on the cold air intake (especially if I see used ones on sale on the north american motoring mini forums). Keep up the great work!
I have a 2011 R60 and unfortunately it only has the screw for the tow hook on one side. The other side has a cavity with nothing in it under the plastic cover. Not sure why this is but given there are quite a few things USA Minis have that aren’t available here in Oz I’d say this is probably another thing to add to the list. Such a shame as this looks like a handy piece of design. Enjoying your channel and the useful info for getting “behind the scenes” of my Mini.
Hi there! I think one way to fix that might be to source out the steel portion that's underneath the bumper cover from the US and then It should work, Maybe search on Hawaii? For shipping purposes.. might not be that expensive if you really want it.
Or if your cover has the little cap and you can take it to a local welder you can mark the area with a marker underneath the cap and then get the hitch and go to a welder without your bumper cover they will cut a hole in the metal and weld a bung with the right thread and you'll be done without having to ship anything from anywhere. Just reattach the cover and now you'll have the proper threaded bung underneath the cap and be able to install and remove your hitch As desired.
Hi there. This same Hitch probably won't work on the 2022. The frame in the 2022 is the same as on the BMW X1, which is very different than the 2016 R60, The frame, body and engine all changed in 2017 to something more similar with what you have now. Contact M7 to see if they are making a hitch for the new model F60. I almost traded this one in for a 2022 3 weeks ago but dealers like Vista Motors in south florida are adding $5000 on top of MSRP and I'm not 1 to pay more than that for anything.

Hi, I have the same hitch that I bought second hand but when trying to install, I am missing a part. So, would you have the exact measurement of the first pieces that you put in, the ones that fit in the holes. I am asking because those pieces are missing and I will have a machinist to create them for me, but he needs the size. Thank you so much for your help.
@@joscopico6299 Hi Josco, Thank you for your comment unfortunately I have not purchased the new 2" hitch from M7. The hitch that I showed in video is not the 2" one that I needed so after I shot the video I shipped it away to a new buyer. I'm sorry I don't have the information for those studs that go into the rear of the bumper.

my 2017 Countryman only has 1 port in the back ... are they hiding it under the bumper without the cutout?
Hi there. The 2017 is a different model, lots of changes. I haven't had a 2017 so I'm not familiar with what's under the bumper cover on those.

I didn't know that the F60 didn't come with the rear ports. Hmm. I don't know if any company is making a viable hitch for the newer model.

Does anyone knows if these will fit on a paceman.?
