Congratulations on your first granddaughter!! I had my first grandchild/daughter last year. She’s actually turning 1 on 7/31. We are having her first birthday party this Saturday. The time has flown by just as it did when my girls were growing up. Being a grandma (Nonna in my case) is absolutely amazing! I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy for someone I don’t know. As somebody who was also a teen mom, first child with someone who also wasn’t really involved, I really felt your tears of joy and excitement. I felt that with my second pregnancy, with my partner who I really wanted to have a baby with. It’s just such a wild feeling after having an unplanned pregnancy at a young age and being scared to tell people, going from that to being “allowed” to feel excited and tell people. So happy for you guys. You will be wonderful parents and Everly is going to be an amazing big sis.

Conception is not always easy. My husband and I have no health problems and have been struggling for almost 3 years with not a single positive. 33 straight months of being let down wondering why. There's a big misunderstanding on how difficult it can be to get pregnant when schools only teach on the dangers of getting pregnant young.
@rossgeller11 Age is not the only determining factor. Myself and several other people in my support community who all started this journey under 30 can vouch for that.

i dunno. I think that when you have a baby or plan to have one you should be very careful who you are with and ask yourself: do they want to marry me? Are they mature enough? On the long term can they be reliable and give me and my children everything we need? Are they emotionally, mentally healthy& mature? Do we share the same values in life? Are there important things i wish i could change abt them? If yes, will i really go in marriage with the thoughts that "i can change them"? Does he respect my wishes? Based on your vids you were more inclined when it comes to this family marriage stuff than him. Seemed like he had different views and goals. Maybe he changed them? But if he wants a child with you why does he not marry you?Why not give you security? If he is mature enough to be a dad, is he not mature enough to be a husband? But your choice. I personally wouldn't marry that young or have another child with someone im not even married to and that i dont know for a long time. I think its risky. Either way, hopefully off camera things work great for you and may you have a healthy baby and family!
I completely agree. Obviously we’re only seeing this little peek of what’s actually going on. But it felt very pushed and he doesn’t seem mature. He really doesn’t seem to have any emotions.
I bet you were extra emotional by Randy's positive reaction because back when you announced your first pregnancy to your ex he was upset, requested a paternity test, and was not even present for 6 or so months of Evs life. I know Evs father's grown up and changed for the better, but it doesn't change what you went through and how extremely different this situation is and how moving it is to see you have a stark difference this time around, not only with a happy partner but a home, an income, acquiring an education, and having a plan. Those happy tears are beautiful.

Firstly, congratulations!!!!! I wish you, your family and the baby the most happiness and best health! Secondly, as a college student, PLEASE do not overload yourself with college classes at this time. I watched a pervious video where you said you felt classes were easy/very manageable and you were considering taking a high number of credit hours. I promise, the classes get more difficult/demanding as you progress (freshman year is normally a breeze compared to the rest). I graduated valedictorian from hs and have a 4.0 in grad school (my credentials to support my opinion) so please consider taking a slightly lower load so you don’t screw yourself with overbooking and hurt your gpa (maybe even only 12 credit hours so you’re still a full time student but not slammed). This is not to say I don’t have faith in your ability to push through, its just to share my experience/advice in hopes it helps you/others.
Oh my gosh congrats! I haven’t watched your videos in a while but I just got on your channel to thank you. I found out I was pregnant at 16 and I was obviously scared. But your videos gave me a lot of hope and they showed me that I had the strength to be an amazing mom to my baby. And that I was going to be ok. You are so strong and I just want to thank you again for being a light for so many young girl’s who are in similar situations ❤️❤️

There is nothing wrong with waiting to be done school & more financially stable before having a (second) child. Or waiting to be dating someone for longer than 2 years & living together for just 5 months at the still very young age of 20. Something Maddie did previously say she wanted to do first... hence why I'm confused & don't understand her change in decision. She was saying just 8 months ago that she wanted her early 20s to be baby free & didn't want to be "stuck at home with a newborn." So of course it's a little puzzling to hear this now?? Again, there's absolutely nothing derogatory about what I said & no reason you need to feel defensive.

Nowadays young boys girls especially girls are too much interested to be relationship with boyfriends... And they do physical relationship without using protective measures. But girl why so soon. You aren't going to be able to enjoy your 20s sweetie I say this because I'm 38 I had my daughter at 19 born when I was 20. Don't get me wrong I love my now 17yr old daughter with all my heart and soul but if I could have the exact child but given a choice I would have had her around 26. It was hard watching my friends going to clubs, bars, just going on trips anywhere and anytime they wanted. They could come home at 3am it didn't matter they would sleep til noon couple of them partied like that for days on end. NOT to mention kids are Hella expensive which you know and they get a whole lot more expensive. I hope you finish college to have a backup from youtube I wish you and your family nothing but love and happiness and yes you are going to have it rough but you will survive

I’ve been watching since Everly was a baby and i’ve always been super impressed by you Maddie. I had my daughter when I was 19 (unplanned) and I was a single mum for nearly 10 years. I’m 30 now and my partner and I trying to get pregnant is soooo much harder than the magic trick my first pregnancy seemed to be! Not giving up though! My proud flex is showing my childfree life with my spouse. We are not married, but have been together longer than most married couples. We focus on our career, traveling and home improvments. We know orphanages are full and our world is broken. Educated people and socially smart people are having no kids especially in our broken world. It angers families on social media soooo much to see us this way because their lives are filled with financial issues, teachers contacting them about their kids not behaving, the husband or wife having a affair to remember what good sex and fun life was. Most have kids because of peer pressure which is soooo outdated. Like if you think women are baby machines go back in the 1950s. Many couples get so angry about my freedom. I got my family and don't selfishly have kids in order not to be alone when I am sick and old. I am not selfish. Our world is dying.

Depends on the antidepressant she’s on..most are safe I went through 2 of my 4 pregnancies on antidepressants and went through all 4 of my pregnancies on seizure medication

It depends of the age of the woman. After after 30 it is harder to be pregnant than at 21.

i dunno. I think that when you have a baby or plan to have one you should be very careful who you are with and ask yourself: do they want to marry me? Are they mature enough? On the long term can they be reliable and give me and my children everything we need? Are they emotionally, mentally healthy& mature? Do we share the same values in life? Are there important things i wish i could change abt them? If yes, will i really go in marriage with the thoughts that "i can change them"? Does he respect my wishes?
Based on your vids you were more inclined when it comes to this family marriage stuff than him.
Seemed like he had different views and goals. Maybe he changed them? But if he wants a child with you why does he not marry you?Why not give you security? If he is mature enough to be a dad, is he not mature enough to be a husband?
But your choice. I personally wouldn't marry that young or have another child with someone im not even married to and that i dont know for a long time. I think its risky.

I bet you were extra emotional by Randy's positive reaction because back when you announced your first pregnancy to your ex he was upset, requested a paternity test, and was not even present for 6 or so months of Evs life. I know Evs father's grown up and changed for the better, but it doesn't change what you went through and how extremely different this situation is and how moving it is to see you have a stark difference this time around, not only with a happy partner but a home, an income, acquiring an education, and having a plan. Those happy tears are beautiful.

Firstly, congratulations!!!!! I wish you, your family and the baby the most happiness and best health! Secondly, as a college student, PLEASE do not overload yourself with college classes at this time. I watched a pervious video where you said you felt classes were easy/very manageable and you were considering taking a high number of credit hours. I promise, the classes get more difficult/demanding as you progress (freshman year is normally a breeze compared to the rest). I graduated valedictorian from hs and have a 4.0 in grad school (my credentials to support my opinion) so please consider taking a slightly lower load so you don’t screw yourself with overbooking and hurt your gpa (maybe even only 12 credit hours so you’re still a full time student but not slammed). This is not to say I don’t have faith in your ability to push through, its just to share my experience/advice in hopes it helps you/others.

But your videos gave me a lot of hope and they showed me that I had the strength to be an amazing mom to my baby. And that I was going to be ok. But girl why so soon. You aren't going to be able to enjoy your 20s sweetie I say this because I'm 38 I had my daughter at 19 born when I was 20. Don't get me wrong I love my now 17yr old daughter with all my heart and soul but if I could have the exact child but given a choice I would have had her around 26. It was hard watching my friends going to clubs, bars, just going on trips anywhere and anytime they wanted. They could come home at 3am it didn't matter they would sleep til noon couple of them partied like that for days on end. NOT to mention kids are Hella expensive which you know and they get a whole lot more expensive. I hope you finish college to have a backup from youtube I wish you and your family nothing but love and happiness and yes you are going to have it rough but you will survive

We know orphanages are full and our world is broken. Educated people and socially smart people are having no kids especially in our broken world. It angers families on social media soooo much to see us this way because their lives are filled with financial issues, teachers contacting them about their kids not behaving, the husband or wife having a affair to remember what good sex and fun life was. Most have kids because of peer pressure which is soooo outdated. Like if you think women are baby machines go back in the 1950s. Many couples get so angry about my freedom. Depends on the antidepressant she’s on..most are safe I went through 2 of my 4 pregnancies on antidepressants and went through all 4 of my pregnancies on seizure medication
