Thanks for the video. I know how to do a basic brake change, but it's nice to be able to look it up first, especially with cheap disposable cars, to make sure there aren't any surprises.
dunno if you guys gives a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been streaming with my gf during the lockdown =)
Those threaded holes in the rotors are to screw bolts in them that go all the way through to push the rotor off the hub if they are stuck on tight. Usually hitting it with a hammer will loosen it enough though.
I wish I could have seen you get the piston down with whatever it was that u were using but u were out of range of the camera. Bummer. I was curious what it was that u used instead of a clamp.
That's actually a wood clamp the wrong tool but it'll work go to Tractor Supply true value or Harbor Freight AutoZone and find cheap 6 inch or larger C-clamp you can even rent a brake caliper tool and get all your money back
These random small youtube channels with these kinds of practical and helpful videos are the real MVPs of the internet

When I was a kid learning to change brakes, we didn't have a c-clamp. My dad handed me a pair of channel locks and said, "SQUEEZE HARDER, PUSSY!" Lol
Thanks a bunch man! Really appreciate it. I've never done brakes before and this was super helpful!

@Marc Kaden Yea, have been watching on InstaFlixxer for months myself =)
I like your audience!
If you take the bottom bolt out first and put it back last, the wrench getting stuck isn't an issue.

Those only work like that if you put the rotors on turned 90 degrees.
Thank you ...
Welcome
Does they have rotors in the back or no

You talked about your Subaru. with a Subaru you have to spin in the caliper not just push it in. in will not go in unless you turn it.
