After completing my usual quality checks, I can safely say this might just be the best video my husband has made. The dad jokes are still pants though….
What an incredible journey. That twist at the end had me on the edge of my seat, I genuinely didn’t expect it. Fantastic edits and jokes all throughout!
I always love finding elden ring challenge runs that use spirit ashes, they’re a part of the game and everyone looks down on them, they make the game way too easy which is why I get why people don’t use them and why I don’t use them myself (unless a boss summons stuff or is a 2v1) but in runs like this you need all the help you can get
Putrid Avatar rot stomp is actually the best punish window for them. You can roll towards and around the avatar as the rot pools don't spread backwards
This was great. I really liked the puns this time around. All in all, I really like runs like these because they just make the player try out a lot of different weapons and spells they wouldn't normally use.
I really like them as well! When I first play these games, I often end up using one or two weapons and that's it. This kinda thing forces me to try stuff outside my comfort zone! Glad you liked the video 🤗
you have no idea how much I love your vids and channel. every new vid is like a gift from a dear friend, and I especially love the cheesy jokes lol. keep up the good work mate.
The fact you did the last fight with your fists made me so happy. I saw you walking up to it with all the gear and I was like, "The final boss is more deserving of a man to man fight, use your fists" and you truly came out on top.
Doing the dragon barrow mini bosses during the caelid section and the moonlight altar mini bosses during the liurnia section is insane and I might be more impressed by that than 90% of your other challenge runs
not sure if you knew this or someone else has said this but the godslayer greatswords ash of war has a follow up which is another swing. also the reason the gargoyle sword damage was so high on the deathbird was cos it deals holy damage which deathbirds are very weak to. anyways other than that, great video with an amazing conclusion
ah rick soldier of god, a worthy opponent indeed. Going through and watching these has been very nice during recovery, as well as kinda inspirational for my own silly challenge run. and randomizer, but my randomizer is babying me -__-
I love this channel so much. From top 10 worst runbacks to a crazy hour long murderous ditto challenge. Excited to see what you come up with in the future.
Has anyone done all 165 bosses, but switched to whatever weapon the boss used after every boss? Ngl that would probably be less painful than this challenge because you can use solid weapons like the staff of the avatar, nightriders halberd and Marais executioner sword multiple times
I think distortion did a run killing all 165 bosses with a different weapon/spell/incant for each but not specifically the weapon/spell/incant that the boss drops.
Oh god, I was rewatching this and just realized Recurring Knight-Mare That was slipped in so seamlessly I love it; I have a lot to learn about annoying my partner with terrible jokes :)
Tip for the putrid avatars: you don't have to run from their rot attack butt slam. Stick close and dodge roll once to their side to the slam then immediately roll again to get behind. The rot only goes forward in a triangle so you'll be out of the rot entirely this way
Dragon Head incantations should be used midair (if that wasnt patched out), since you rise higher into the air even after jumping, making you dodge some attacks.
For Dealing with the putrid avatars' jumping rot attacks, i suggest running to their sides and rolling once they fall to avoid the rot completely as well as having a huge opening. I hope this helps with beating a not so difficult boss faster.
@@JKLeeds OK, wise guy. How a "only good jokes, zero puns, intricate lyrics flow" run? You can choose your weapon, tho. (I'm kidding, I love your puns and rapping).
30:51 that was an honest-to-god good pun. Well done. 37:10 all jokes aside, the concept of the Fallingstar Beast Jaw reminds me of Samson, the long-haired biblical strongman. It’s said that he once slew a thousand men with just a donkey’s jawbone, so that’s why. 43:59 you can actually circle around the avatar when it does that attack! The rotten sludge (?) only sprays out in front of it.
Did you not know you can hold meteor? The spell is actually really strong against big bosses. It looks so funny when you just let the first wave fly LMFAO.
I think you missed the Black Knife Assassin in Altus who drops the group's namesake weapon. So you did have one more option for what to use against Lansseax.
@@genericname6505 Good to know. I was wondering about that as well, since I'd definitely consider it a field boss, but I couldn't remember if it had a boss health bar and maybe that was why he skipped it if it didn't.
Yeah so have to confess, way back when I made these videos, I for some reason thought you couldn't get into the Hero's Grave without killing the Black Knife Assassin which I now know of course is not the case, but that's the reason I counted it as part of the dungeon at the time.
