The chief of police ordered public services to be suspended due to a citizen exercising rights. Disgusting.
Now I wonder if the cost of doing this came out of HIS paycheck and not the other taxpayers I’d bet he’d keep office open. The CHIEF stated in response to James saying he could file his FOIA request anonymously, "Well we'll just respond anonymously."

Unless I misunderstood her, the first woman you spoke to went back to her desk mumbling about you recording and then said she was going to call her husband. If that is what she said, I think the reason the cops arrived so quickly is because she's either married to a cop, who then called the chief, or her husband is the chief! He then called for reinforcements!

I’m so tired of government employees thinking people with cameras are subject to be kidnapped by police or possibly shop simply for standing there with their phone. I think lawsuits need to be filed way more often on police and government employees because they do put auditors in dangerous situations for no reason
