Awesome video-clear, concise, and packed with useful intuitive tips for new mechanics. You’ve got a great way of teaching and presenting. Are you a shop instructor by chance?
Do you what to do, whats wrong with my pit bike's clutch, it doesn't move at all. It's like when I try to start the bike and I kick hard, it spins and when I push it gentle, it works right. All this started one day when my bro was driving the bike as usual, then it started shaking and turned off, after that it did't work. We opened the clutchcover and there was piece from the cover, what happened?
How do these clutches work then? The pin on the cover pushes the bearing and compresses the springs .. and somehow the plates then disengage ?? I don't understand. Got a bike like this myself, and trying to figure it out.
Hi great video, I just can't seem to get it to work. The clutch plates can move about when I have installed the clutch (like in the prior clutch video you made) and I have tightened the bolts over the springs as tight as I can. The cable seems to work fine, as when I pull the lever the pin on the inside of the casing comes out, but when it comes out it just barely touches the bearing and doesn't return. And even if it did touch the bearing how would it do anything if the springs are fully compressed? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
how is the clutch going to work with the springs compressed all the way im having a problem with my ssr 125 I have no movement when I tighten down the spring all the way thanks any info will help
Adam Hays I was confused the same as you! Drove me nuts for a few days. When you assemble the clutch you are assembling the unit like it was engaged so at that point of assembly it’s fully engaged. When you pull the clutch it will release the tension my putting pressure on the center hub
Hi mate I’m having trouble getting that special socket with the notches, I’m from Australia, what are they actually called mate? Cheers..ps I’ve tried everything and it is on so tight won’t budge...
Did you fix it? Me and my friend bought the same yx140 and both have the same problem... i opened mine up to look at the pin and it looks like it cant even reach the clutch. If i were to adjust the cable and set it to "the hard part" as written on the Tbull site, the pin would not be pushed out far enough by the rotation to disengage
Hi I've replaced the kickstart cogs behind my clutch on my 170cc stomp engine now I have changed the cogs and put all back together my clutch isn't doing anything my bike goes in gear and even when pulling clutch in the wheel is locked up any advice would be great.

Hey wondering if there's supposed to be play at the clutch basket ? Also is there any play between the basket and the little "goldish" clutch tabs ? Mine seems to be very loose in there.
I have a new clutch and i have installed it but when i install the case and tries to pull the clutch arm nothing happens it just go until the spring dont want to go further. Please help:(
If i make a video showing my issue, can you watch it and give me some feedback of what the issue is and what parts I may need to try out? Thankyou. If so i will do it tomorrow.

dylan milford from my experience they can be really stickey. Fire it up see if it works when running get some lube worked around. If not double check the clutch adjustment TboltUSA tboltusa.com/store/tech.php?pID=63/How+to+Adjust+Rear+Clutch+Cable+%3Cbr%3E+%26+Clutch+Will+Not+Disengage

What the tool called that that take the castle nut of clutch so I don’t have to hit the nut off with screw driver and hammer
Those Phillips are easily moved with an impact driver!
Thank you very much appreciate it !

I can't get those Filips out!
they are very tight what should I do to get them loose
(sorry for my bad english it's not my regular language)
Sylvain Itsjustsyl use a vice grip on the shaft of the screw driver so you can put your weight into the screwdriver so it won’t strip
Or use a hammer and as you apply pressure tap the end of the screwdriver loosening it as you twist

Tittan1500 thank you mate ✌🏻
Yoo man please help! Just installed a brand new yx 140 into my pitbike and the clutch feels way too soft, it does nothing! What shall I do??
YzFDyL check the cable adjustment. That’s probably it
@@tittan1500 it's just not disengaging I think man, cable is working as it should it's just soft, does this mean I would need to rebuild it?

World Gaming clutch arm must have been installed at the wrong angle or the cable moved
How can I upgrade my clutch to basket type clutch on my apollo 125cc
Also another question mate, is it left thread or right bc it seems so tight, I’ve tried vice grips n all
Me too i just can't get it off
Tried using the special socket to take it off and the oil throw wheel just keeps on spinning and I can’t get the nut off. What do I do
Thomas Dawley use an impact or try to wrap a band wrench around it.
Could even use duct tape around it and try to hold it.
