I got a similar situation but the 4 Phillips head screws are in there really tight, I used and impact driver to try n get them out nut they wkny budge even tried if they're left hand threads
I have a Tao Tao DB10 110cc, and I THINK it’s having clutch issues?.. Starts up fine, can scoot around no issue, but occasionally it just doesn’t wanna “Go” is the best way to put it. It doesn’t overrev or bog out or anything.. it just doesn’t seem to have the same power it usually does at a certain throttle. (It’s an Auto Clutch, with only a forward gear. No neutral, shifter, or clutch lever)
@@bearkreekboys you’re correct, clutch adjustment bolt is on the right side of the case on the Tao Tao. And oddly enough.. I just noticed there’s a little fluid leaking out from where that bolt is.
Hey I just bought a used Chinese bike from a buddy and it will shift though gears but it will not go into neutral I striped the engine and I can’t figure out why it won’t go into neutral. Any tips on this problem?
So my clutch in my lifan 125 swapped atv the engine is brand new so the clutch and oil is to but it slips bad and i have the lever adjusted to the width of a coin and the line is brand new also but i cant seem to get the asjustment on the nut correct on the thing under the cover help
any tips mine takes off even with the lever in, i have the clutch lever fully adjusted it don’t get any tighter, i have both adjusters on the lever and cable it’s still takes off with the lever in
Disassemble and check all components something is not allowing the clutch to release. This could be stuck plates and disks. Thats how mine was. May need a new clutch very cheap parts
mine takes off with lever in or out. Worked fine the other day, till I took the cover off and noticed a circle ground on the inside of the cove. Fixed that but now no clutch... dunno. Help
@bearkreekboys I lost the adjustment screw that's in the case I'm not sure if that would be the problem, with the old clutch it would work perfectly fine without it
Your clutch plates are sticking or basket is grooved. Try blipping throttle and then pull clutch in and shift. May be time to remove clutch cover and inspect
@@bearkreekboys thanks! I saw the plates did move with the cover open. Everything seems to be working as is and the grooves aren’t really that bad. I ordered new plates anyway I’ll let you know what happens
hmm....i am having the same thing happen on my Venom X20. Brand new. Mine can shift between gears without holding the clutch in. and does the same thing lurches forward when clicking into 1st. I will see if i can get Venom motorsports to send me a new clutch...if not then Amazon here i come......
The spring inside the actuator top hat looking metal barrel thing inside the bearing on the front of a pitbike clutch dosnt seem to do anything because when the spring is pushed in it dosnt push anything on the other side of it.the spring just pushes inside the actuator so I can’t see how it does anything.
Your float is stuck that is how you're getting gas in h your crank adjust the screw on the bottom of your carb and turn your gas off when your not riding

The hub did snap though right off the rear wheel send the chain into flywheel housing so thats non existent and as that happened think it like locked up the clutch in process made it weak
I just a project 125 . Just wondering if any one has had an issue of there bike not engaging into gear .?It’s like it’s always in neutral .
Mines opposite atm
Mines opposite two always in gear
Do you have the link to the special tool

I think there's an adjustment on the right side ? Might be info online or other UA-cam vids for the auto/centrifugal clutch

Did you replace the disks that were stuck completely or just clean them up?
Cleaned them has been great ever since
If you don't mind me asking, what did you do to clean them up? Sorry if i'm asking to much.
We used a somewhat gritty grinding pad on an impact tool. It worked great, beats using a file of some sort!
I just replaced my clutch but it wont disengage i pull the lever put it in gear and itll stall what did i do wrong????
Did u adjust the clutch on the cover side? Also did u install the pusher on the end?

Impact wrench
So in a sense u didnt film the most crucial parts
Correct

Is it a problem if I use liquid gasket instead of a proper gasket?
Your choice just have to be careful

@@bearkreekboys okay! One more question does the 125cc cover gasket fit for the 140cc they look identical just didn’t know if the cases were bigger
I think they may be different. Not 100 percent but I thought the shape wasn't quite the same
What's the name of the special tool
Ebay clutch removal tool for Pit bike
What’s the socket called
On eBay! Pit bike clutch socket
Thanks 🙏
Also I noticed you said that it was oil, is that fir 2 stroke or is transmission fluid in there
Sticking clutch plates maybe?
So it doesn't turn over or the clutch doesn't actually disengage the friction plates?
It turns over and starts when the clutch lever is depressed
When it’s pressed I have no compression
And it won’t start
3:56 can anyone tell me what this part is called that he is pushing on
No compression
That nut with the little adjuster is too far out
Good try but those plates were rusted together
