1:11 bugs do not have blood in the traditional sense. They have something called hemolymph which serves nearly the exact same function, but the critical difference is hemolymph does not carry oxygen. I like gumiho because of his reluctance to go ghosts instead of the OVER RELIANCE. That it seems so many high level players go for. The balance patch is so.... Not a patch. I want to see good awesome back and forth games. Not the zerg and or protoss with 1k apm didnt do this 1 thing because their humans playing a game and then the terrain got 3 bases with drugs and guns into ghosts at 10 minutes. Honestly, that segment with the opera music was very chill. Have you considered doing golf style cast with opera playing? This could be cool, and different.
Crazy how every ability and sieging and unsieging of Terran is instant and unpunichable. Love balance But Gumhio and Dark having fun and just enjoying old and odd unit combs make it still enjoyable
1:14 not quite. Insects have something called hemolymph. It serves as an oxygen transport system just like blood, but instead of hemoglobin, which is red, it uses hemocyanin, which is blue-ish when bound with oxygen and white-ish, when unbound. But since zerg bodily liquids are red, I have no fucking idea what it's supposed to be. You'd have to ask Subsorian.
I appreciate Gumiho for not building Ghosts which is weird since its kinda the easy win unit but instead opted with the BCs and ranged libs, I hope this way he's gonna add BCs to the lategame as suppose to just building ghosts
the reason GuMiho lost first match was he had NOT ENOUGH battlecruisers, which is sad, just go 20 BTs and gg btw, not a StarCraft 4, but a World of StarCraft and not extraction first person shooter, cuz we have Helldivers for that :P

Hm... I wonder why Swarm Hosts are considered a supply trap because locusts are an active threat for 18 seconds on a 43 second cooldown... and somehow disruptors aren’t considered a supply trap even though the nova exists for 2.1 seconds on a 21 second cooldown, can be removed by killing the ruptor, the ruptor is immobilized when the nova exists and only deals damage once. Maybe zergs can try to start using SHs like tosses use ruptors, to generate a steady stream of deadly meatshields. The slow speed of the locust shouldnt be an issue if you send them in ahead of time. I would imagine defending a roach ravager attack on your base should be much more annoying if there's wave after wave after wave of several locusts incoming every few seconds.
Ruptors aren't considered a trap, because the AoE is necessary. They are just considered a coin flip, even if they are a necessary one. Whether you do Ruptors, Colossus, or High Templar, you have to do one of them if you need the AoE, or you are just throwing the game. As for why Swarm Hosts are considered a trap, it's because they are 3 supply each, you need a decent number of them for them to be effective, and they are doing nothing 2/3 of the time, even if you are using them on cooldown, not to mention they are ESPECIALLY vulnerable during that 2/3 of the time, or HAVE to be in the Nydus.
@@LucianDevine I get it that toss desperately needs AOE, but just because toss needs it doesn't make it any better. Also, you do realize that the entire second paragraph of your reply could be copy-pasted about ruptor as well, right? You just need to change the name of the unit and make all numbers look worse (3 supply -> 4 supply, 2/3 -> 90%).
@@WhoTheLoL Except that Swarm Hosts are never necessary. So if you aren't using that 1/3 timing perfectly, you are falling into the trap. Every one of Toss's AoE options has a flaw, depending on the matchup. It doesn't change the fact that when Toss needs AoE, they NEED AoE. So you have to take the chance and try to toe that line or you are just dead anyway. You either build your 3 Colossus, and no more so you aren't too vulnerable to things like Vikings and Corruptors, build your Ruptors, flip the coin, and make sure you always hold one back so they can't rush you while your AoE is on cooldown, or go Storm and are vulnerable to EMP or armies that are too bulky for it.
@@LucianDevine Well, I disagree with a some points here. Most importantly, while it's obvious toss needs AOE, I disagree that toss ever needs ruptors - or at least ruptors functioning as AOE. Without getting too much into detail, I've seen plenty of pros handle their non-mirror matchups without ruptors. Colossi covering a transition to storms/archons suffice. Storm prism is a great answer to EMP, it provides a micro-based counter that can't really be stopped in any easy way - you just have to be good enough to use it well, which is what we want from SC2. There's also no such thing as an enemy army that needs your AOE but is too bulky to storm - if the enemy sports Ultras, Thors or other beefy units that shrug off storms, then you should be using Immortals, not ruptors. A ruptor scoring full 145 damage to 6 enemy units (not even sure if it's physically possible to hit 6 thors with ruptor, but let's go with this) equals 870 damage, over 21 second cooldown it is 41dps. A +3 Immortal has 57dps vs armored (after the upcoming nerf from 5.0.14 PTR). Anyway, I think that the playerbase has somehow completely missed the point of the disruptor, which imho is to... disrupt. It's not meant to score AOE hits, it's meant to force the enemy to waste APM, cut DPS and abandon convenient positions by forcing them to dodge the nova. The reason why Protoss needs that in the first place is because protoss has the hardest time disengaging from a fight because of how slow they are. When they want to retreat, Protoss need help. Forcefields are OK-ish until EMP/Ultras, stasis wards are unreliable. Disruptor is the only unit that is capable of effectively negotiating a retreat with the enemy army. So, with the above in mind, I think that the Disruptor's role in the Protoss arsenal is to disrupt - force the enemy to dodge the nova, at the risk of receiving massive losses if they fail to do so. At that role, Disruptors are OK.... ... but could Swarm Hosts not be thought of the same way? They both produce something short-lived on a large cooldown that is capable of dealing exorbitant amounts of damage if not paid proper attention. Isn't that kinda similar? 3 SHs take 9 supply and every 43 seconds produce 6 locusts whose DPS exceeds that of a full medivac of stimmed marines... which is 10 supply. Long story short, I believe that the SC2 playerbase, including the pros and casters, have a lot more depth to discover in this game. You might say that after 14 years we've seen everything, but it wasn't more than 2 weeks ago when Dark broke ZvT with his mass Overseer/Changeling strategy that actually works on highest level of play. Skillous is the only Protoss I've seen to use the FF/Ruptor trick, where he drops two ineffective forcefields and retreats, dragging the terran bioball through the gap between the FFs, and then fires a ruptor nova - the terrans have to squeeze through the hole between the FFs which slows them down just enough for the nova to actually hit. SC2 is such a gem, played to death by thousands of players, tens of thousands of times per day, and there's still new stuff to discover in it. I believe SHs are the same. Some pro player will soon realize that just having a handful of SHs as a distraction can actually force micro errors on the enemy side, just enough for their Ravagers shots to hit home.
