Technically this specific section is nameless. While yes, "was it a dream" is the name of the original song sampled, this section of stage 5 was named by the fans.

This is about 10x more emotional than the original first moment of bliss.
Because you can hear it so much more clearly.
The temporary bliss state is bliss, but you'll still forget some things.
But for this, you'll basically start resuming life normally, until you're thrown back into chaos.

Until you're thrown back into the endless and suffering loop of memory loss only growing worse every second. It even taunts you in your last moments of life with the random remembrance of something beautiful.
I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.
The ending was a nice touch. The fade out before the picture became totally clear made it feel like you're remembering something, but not entirely.
Pretty sure the next five seconds would've devolved into pure chaos again.

The sad part to me, is that this moment of lucidity might have been a fake memory because of the line "I'm afraid I'll wake and find, it was only in my mind." Since I've heard that Alzheimer's patients tend to create fake memories to try and fill the gaps.
Especially because we've never heard this song in the album before stage 5.

It’s quite literal in this context; the patient has long since lost the ability to discern reality from imagination.
It's like remembering the deepest moment of being in love with someone from your past through an actual daydream. It feels so good and you try as hard as you can to maintain that profound meaningful memory, only for the picture of you and them be forgotten and be literally be shredded apart by the horrible disease. 💔

Lot of people say that the ending of stage 6 is the time when you remember everything before you die, but I believe this is the last fragment of remembering and at the point of stage 6 ending you just see yourself in 3rd person mode like others described their near death experiences, like my grandpa's friend once.

interpretation: due to the description of Stage 5 "repetition and rupture can give way to calmer moments. the unfamiliar may sound familiar" this song is not a memory but a dream (as its name suggests) but the disease has advanced so much that the difference between reality, dreams and hallucinations has been blurred to the point that they seem oneself

Its not disappointing because they are trying to remember, its a miracle according to my friend who is a caretaker that it is very rare to even think after stage four in the dementia cycle , its hurts to think that people are in that cycle, that song is what my friend plays before they die, its amazing to see them smile when they die... They will be in a better place 😥
