I 100% the remake and honesty It was pretty easy, at least for me. By the end of the story I had gotten all but 6 tattle and 2 badges. I only had to grind recipes and the remaining star pieces
Its funny because i used chuggaaconroy's video to 100% this game years ago when i was in high school and years later its getting a remake and this video pops up for me
It is a style thing, so i cant really fault you for it, but i do have to wonder if summarizing the story was really necessary, ESPECIALLY with a remake on its way. If it was a video chronicling the "challenges" of 100%, reducing most of them down to mere bullet points was a strange choice. Not a bad video by any means, just not quite what i was expecting of a journey to 100% type of video.
Yeah, my other 100% vids I cover the story in it’s entirety since most of the collectibles are available with the progression of the game. Do you mean bullet points as in saying for example collecting 4 SP in one area or beating said boss?
@@Cyndoughquil pretty much. it is more that the video feels like 75% story summary, 25% "here's when but not how i got the collectibles towards 100%". It didnt need to be much more than what was there, but it could have easily gotten a couple extra words about HOW they were obtained, like how spin jumps/ground pounds end up locking about half the star pieces. Instead of "and i grabbed 4 star pieces in rogue port", it could have been "with unlocking 'ground pounds' i did a lap collecting the ones it hid in areas x, y, and z". I wasnt necessarily expecting a walkthrough of where to get everything for 100%, but you could have devoted a bit more time to the parts of the journey that frustrated you or were more complicated than just "it was along the required path, so i picked it up". What were the most difficult or tedious recipes to gather materials for? What materials for cooking were the most annoying to farm? What badges were well hidden or required noteworthy backtracking? stuff like that. "method to the madness" details, as it were.
This game was the best birthday present I got nearly twenty years ago. I was either 6 or 7, and I loved RPGs since.
I remember getting this for Christmas as a kid! My first big rpg outside of final fantasy and had a blast and still do to this day!
That Minecraft UA-camr line was glorious.
Always gotta keep the pressure on them 👀
I love paper Mario, it inspires me. If he has such paper twig legs and still can jump so high, then maybe I can too!!

Honestly, the recipes were the worst part of this 100%. So much back and forth and expensive ingredients
Yes, that is so relatable
Bro really dropped that Minecraft UA-camrs line 😂
Gotta keep the pressure on 😂
