Been ordering stuff from you guys for about 6 months now. Every time I order something you guys drop something new that I can’t resist. Thank you for the quality products at affordable prices. I will remain a loyal customer. thanks for the informative videos also
Why are people flaming him in the comments? This video is evidently geared towards shooters who are new to the AR world and have no idea how to zero an optic. I just purchased my first AR & red dot & I found the video very educational!
Getting ready to take a 1-8 lpvo out and zero. I have been running a 36 yard zero but never really have shot past 100 yards, nowhere to shoot out here, bought the lpvo for another build and I really want to shoot some distance, but at 66 yrs old this is all new to me as far as optics, we didn't have this in the army back 45 yrs ago. Thank you for making this some understandable!! Love your clips, your honesty and your ability to communicate clearly! Love to you man!
Not sure about the 1-8 but the 1-6 has ranging hashes for yards based on an 18inch shoulder width. Not dissimilar to the Trijicon RCO acog that the marines use as standard issue. A very cool feature to see on an affordable optic. Can’t wait to sight mine in next week
Very well explained. I just ordered the 3x magnifier to use behind my Predator V1 with the 45 degree offset sights on one rifle and I also have the Predator V2 on another rifle using the 45 degree offset mount. I have not had any problems with any of the products from Tacticon and will continue to support a Veteran owned company as I am also a Veteran. Keep up the great work Nolan.
Great video... One thing to mention. While I would also recommend zeroing your rifle with max magnification. With second focal plain you can still zero at any magnification you want as your zero wont change. Only your holds will change when not fully magnified. None the less. good video.
I just got the Falcon v2 1-4x24mm lpvo and it's amazing. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical because of the price but let me tell you... It's an awesome optic that should cost more. Precise, great built quality and comes with everything you need to get it in your rifle. Thanks for the video, just what I was looking for.
Just ordered that exact scope. Hope I can zero it as easily. Probably not but I can use the exercise. You guys continue to be my go-to QM. Keep up the great work and keep making great products. I have a bunch!!!
Another use for the battle bag pad is to have it under your muzzle to prevent dust ups when firing prone, less giveaway to the evil steel plate you're shooting at.
OK Bud, the fact that you have on Rainbow Sandals!!! Just more of a reason to continue to buy from Tacticon Armament! Raised in San Clemente and lived in those things since I was a kid. Great product and very happy with everything I have purchased from Tacticon!! Thanks for the vid!
I use two zeros the 50/200 and 25/300. The formula I use is bottom out the elevation and windage. At 25 yards three inches equals 1MOA once I get that zero, I have the drop all set 7 inches down is 50 yards 8 inches down on elevation is 100 yards.
Great video... I seen videos saying I should do 100yrs . I will have to try the 50 yrs and see how that goes. I have a new scope see if I could get on paper at 200yrs. Keep up the great work.
I just got the falcon v2 1-4x24 I haven’t had a chance to take it to the range yet but this was a awesome video I’m glad I watched it. Please make a shooting video on the 1-4 all I could find was the 1-6 video thanks and keep up the awesome work and products!
Well done. Way better than another UA-camr out there that’s lit off energy drinks, shaking like someone with Parkinson’s and talking faster than an auctioneer. Yes, I’m referring to LucAss.
lol the opening of this video was funny, I can totally relate to some of my first days out going shooting and being a "larp" ! Great video, keep up the great work!
I find you to the point, informative and relatably entertaining. You made clear some interesting points on range distance and ammunition. I didn't watch the opening, but once i caught on to your instruction technique, low-key, concise, and "fun" thanks. 1st time watching, a quick 11 minutes. I'll watch this again and see the beginning. Thanks again.
Man, a FFP 1-4 option using the apex Falcon Reticle would be amazing. BTW, that is a nice reticle design that provides enough info to work with without being migraine inducingly complicated.
@Tacticon Armament thank you for the video. Question, wouldn’t it be easier to take a shot and then move the crosshairs to where the impact was made? You should be zeroed at that point..
@@TacticonArmament just received it yesterday! Thanks for the quick service. Any way you can work on a video in the future for proper hold overs and distances for the reticle?
Zeroing in a optic. Weve all done it. We’ve all watched different ways and at different distances. This video, however, is not only educational but fun to watch.
A year late, but I'd think about visiting California to cuddle you, Nolan. To reassure you that you are a good and decent man that deserves affection. Oh, and to buy some gear from y'all's shop, in person. Great content. The Podcast is a must listen while at work.
Thanks for your time, and sharing. We should love are fellow American citizens of this great Republic.Stop the divide. Together we are strong like bull, from Florida with ❤. If ever pinned downed reflective surfaces may allow you to see more. Be safe.
Wish more companies would come out with fixed 5x optics. I used a lpvo for a while but always left it maxed out so I just swapped it for one of the only fixed 5x optics I could find...which is a CHONKY boi.
Confused. I purchased discovery second focal plane scope and I thought I made a mistake not purchasing a first vocal plane scope because I’m going to be using my rifle for long-distance target shooting up to 300 yards maybe a little bit more. I was speaking to Hunter who knows some professional target shooters and some ex snipers who prefer second focal playing over first vocal plane, which surprised me. What’s your opinion?
I like what you’re saying. Thinking of trying it, and “was” going to subscribe, but I just cannot take a grown man with long pants wearing flip flops….😝
Thank you for making these great videos! I’m newer to the gun community so it’s really nice to have these information dense videos! Too many others are full of military lingo that no one explains and I don’t know what they are saying
Wait wait, your moving your bullets to your optic? Isn’t it supposed to be your optic to the bullets? So the first adjustment should have been up and to the right not down and to the left??
You should stay away from Archery if you dont like walking. At 50mtrs doing around 30 sets of 6 shots ya certainly get ya steps in. And then when ya add up walking another 30mtrs or so to pick up all 6 arrow's that refuse to hit the target. Good timed.
This may seem like an odd question but I’ve never used the pop up dials on any kind of optic. Do you have to worry about them getting messed up at all or do you mark them to remember where your zero is?
@ethandyer2078 Hey Man, Once you get your rifle scope zeroed, there will be a small Allen screw on the side of the turret (dial) that you unscrew. This will allow you to lift the turret (dial) up freely and spin it around to the “Zero” number aligns with the line or hash mark on the scope body at the base of the dial. This way your “Zero” will read at zero on the numbers on each of your turrets (dials). Remember to tighten (snug) up the Allen Screws once they are aligned and in the zero position. Even if they get turned, you simply then just turn your dials back to the zero number and that is back to “zero” again. I hope that I was able to explain this well enough to understand and that it helps. Take care and have a Happy Range Day !
I unscrewed the top cap and pulled the dial off and lined it up on zero. I'm sure there is a better way to do it. Watch out for the washer it will run on you if you aren't careful
Tacticon coming out with the best videos, taught by the best host in Nolan. Keep them coming guys!

im the exact same here. seemed too good to be true but this LPVO is genuinely great for the money.
Thank you!!!
What zero do you recommend for this rifle shooting up to 300 yards?
50 yard zero would be fine, then use the holdovers in the etched reticle.

I can dig it brother.
Yeah, those steel plates are dangerous, nefarious, and just plain evil. It's best not to take any chances, IMO.
You guys ALWAYS have the best learning and instructional videos with the calmest teachers!!!!!! Could watch these all day haha! P.S. love the humor!
I love it when you sweet talk me
Really good video ... I've zeroed in a few optics in my day ... But your video was both entertaining but also so very informative.... Thanx Man !!!!

Great tutorial and tips. Just bought this scope from you guys, and it rocks. 🇺🇸
