- I feel like I haven’t been home in months, we have been scrounging through our freezers just to make meals. I have just been gone so much that I haven’t had a chance to really get decent groceries. And my kids kept begging me please please mom will you go grocery shopping. But the good side is we got rid of a lot of food in our freezers and now I’m able to head to the grocery store to stock up on some things that we were short with.
This shopping haul my kids decided they want to come with me and it’s always way more exciting when they come with me, but I really have no idea what to expect. I know some people think that my kids my are crazy but honestly, I think they act like all the other kids around me. 😂😂
Honestly, I’m just thankful that my kids wanna be around me because when I was your age, I didn’t want to be with my parents or act like they are my parents. I was just like typical teenager that was like yeah no. 😂😉

The amount you spent after not getting groceries for 2 months is really good especially how expensive everything is now.
Remember, she has a lot of stuff she home cans and fresh meat…. We home can /freeze everything and grow it ourselves and raise our own meat.. we hardlever go to the store

We just got back from vacation at a waterpark resort in Michigan. Honestly, I was SO impressed! I found amazing grocery deals in produce/ dairy sections, so many gluten-free options in the stores, and every restaurant had gluten-free cauliflower pizzas, grilled chicken options, and loaded salads. It was the first time in years that I could eat at the same restaurant as my family. (I have fibromyalgia and celiac disease.) Normally, I just drink a diet coke and watch them eat. I'm definitely not retiring in my home state!❤❤
It's always nice to find restaurants that cater to diet preferences. I have Crohn's and it's hard to find foods I can eat without a flare-up.
@MrsAlmaTrumble I get that! I was so sad when food storages made a lot of Chicago fast food restaurants drop their salads and a lot of sit down restaurants drop their grilled main course and veggie options. I didn't ask for the salad or grilled option once in Michigan without them clarifying if I was selecting gluten free for allergy reasons so there wouldn't be any cross contamination. (P.s. We follow a lot of the same people. I pass you in the comments often! I keep thinking MrsAlmaTrumble has good taste in channels! 😉)

My husband and I buy groceries for planned meals too. It saves so much money and it keeps us from making trips to the store in between. We try to eat healthy too.

Definitely going to be a heck of a grocery haul if it's been two months, love how you try to buy more healthy stuff for your family. Nobody's perfect though. Just makes me very happy that you try to do your best at buying healthier stuff for the people that you love. I have other UA-camrs I watch that have like 13 kids and everything is so processed and even more processed. Glad you try to do better❤ cuz I know it's definitely hard to try and get stuff that's healthier for your family that they will eat

I really like your channel! You make real meals that are nutritious & delicious as well. That was the way I cooked when we were raising our kids. Now my husband does the majority of the cooking because I have multiple problems with my back, which make It hard to stand for long. During the holidays I like to make special dishes for my family, so my husband steps right up & is my assistant. It's so much fun to see how much our grandkids enjoy the things we make. One thing we do w fruit & veggies is freeze them if they start to go bad. The fruit works well in smoothies when frozen and its a quick way have things on hand like peppers & onions..etc.

When i find great deals i buy them just got 4 boxes of cereal for 1.00 a box said best by Nov but it be gone way before that. I definitely stock up when i can and when i see meats on sale i buy it. Right now i have a stock upright freezer which is helping a lot so that i can save buying groceries so that i can get rest of the stuff for my wedding in couple months been also buying food for that. Just wish we had a discount grocery store where we live at but you did great getting all that groceries for that price its hard because each week groceries prices go up

@Justthebells10 they may not have in in yet..but we have it here in Delaware and you'd never know the difference either. Coffee Mate makes one & International Delight makes the other. both ZERO sugar! I bet maybe Walmart has it..but in the next few wks you should see it for sure..I'm going to provide a link to the Keto Pumpkin Mousse as we call it. It's so good. But you honestly can make a pie out of it too using a keto crust. I just think it's a great no bake dessert just like it is!

Ive been buying that bacon at my discount store for less then 2 dollars a pack. Last week they had 24 oz for 4 bux. Was wondering how much it was thn you said it😂. I’ve been on that i’ve been on that diabetes diet and in three weeks I drop 15 pounds. When you first take the needle for about two hours you’re you’re kind of nauseated and then you know what I eat all day or you don’t pray for anything. My dietitian told me that I have to be very very careful with smoothies because even though everybody thinks that it’s low in calories, it’s actually high in calories. I’ve been working with dietitian and she is wonderful. She’s been working with overweight problem clients and she’s been doing it for 20 years. She was the one to tell me about the smoothies because I thought the same way. The one thing I like about this diet is I could eat a lot of fruit. For example, I will eat something that’s probably 300 cal and then I have four apples. What I love about mama, Bell and dad, bell and the kids are not fake, but are real and shows us when they’re getting on mom’s nerves, what they do at birthday times, and when they act a little bit negative,

He wants you to send his fishing poles over there. I know you’re going through a hard time with him going away to college. I was the same way also. I adopted five kids and one passed away with cancer, but the rest are doing very well. We're paying $6 to $8 for four sticks of butter where I am in Canada.
The uk is $5 for four sticks of butter (equivalent). Our one packet is two sticks. One packet is about £2. Not as cheap as the offer they had but cheaper than Canada I think!

I don’t follow regularly to know, so can someone please explain to me what they do for fruits and vegetables because certainly to say these are groceries for two months makes me wonder do they just go without or does she not include them as part of her hauls when she tells us this was groceries for two months.
They have a garden, a farm, and several businesses. Lately they’ve had several big trips so they’ve been on the road a lot. There have been a few quick trips to the store. Mama Bell usually does a large shopping trip about once a month. Running to the store for just a few things isn’t her norm. Also, she’s been working to use up everything in her pantries before their garden comes in. She’s been working on getting her grocery costs down.
Not going without, but not doing how other channels do when they just buy, buy, buy.

Why did Haley dump her first cereal choice in the wrong place. It just means that someone who works there has to put it in the right place for her.
