- When you look at various ceramics, you often see beautifully colored containers with glaze, right? It is a glaze that determines the atmosphere and ease of use of pottery, but it is quite difficult to apply multiple glazes well.
Furthermore, the color changes depending on whether the glaze is "matched" or "divided", and the way of glaze is different.
In order to practice the desired glaze, we have to consider how to use glaze.

掛け分け、掛け合わせ(長石、織部)釉掛けの技術参考に成りました。
カメラでも織部の発色の違いわかりました。
黒と長石の重ね掛け参考に成りました。
早速チャレンジします。

釉薬の掛け合わせは何気に難しいですが、発色を理解すると、どの様に施釉すれば良いかわかります。
オリベなど他の釉薬に影響されて発色が鈍くなる事が多いですね！
結構手間がかかりますが、チャレンジしてみてください。

釉薬の重ね掛け、大変参考になりました。市販の釉薬にはない色合いが出せるのはとても面白いと思います。釉薬同士の相性もあるかと思いますが、出来れば釉薬の重ね掛けの幾つかのパターンがあれば教えてください。よろしくお願いします。

釉薬は掛け合わせで色々な表現ができますが、なかなか難しく上手くいかないことも多いです。
その分、綺麗に出来たときの感激は再考です。

中級編拝見しました。有難うございました。色釉薬のベースに白又は透明をかけて双方の味わいを感じるのですね。陶芸においては、例えば「赤」と「黄色」で「緑」みたいに完全に違う色になるような掛け方はしないのでしょうか？邪道？でしょうか？

釉薬は基本的に単発のモノで窯変や流れ具合、還元、酸化焼成での違いを求めていきます。結晶釉なども単発での窯変を追求しますね！
ちょっとのアクセントで色の違う釉薬掛け合わせる事は多いですが、掛け合わせをベースにしてしまうと失敗も増えますし、釉調も安定しにくいと思われす。
でも色々と試してみるのも陶芸の楽しみでもあります。

絵の具で色かいた湯飲みの上から長石釉を、かけても絵の具や、他の釉薬が白く消えたりしないのですか。

長石釉なら大丈夫ですよ！焼成するとうっすらと絵が見える位透明になります。
透明釉はもっとはっきりと絵が見えます。
私の通うお教室では器の底に必ずワックスを塗ることになっています。器楽さんのいう撥水剤というのはWaxと同じでしょうか。つまり掛け分けをする時にWaxを塗ってもいいのでしょうか。

撥水剤とワックスは同じ意味合いだと思います。
水を弾いて釉薬を付かなくする効果を取入れている訳です。

掛け合わせの場合は
ベースが黄瀬戸が乾いたら垂れるワラ灰を掛けます。三回目は筆の滴を散らします。
筆で滴を散らすのは良いですね！流石です。
なぜ長石釉の下に絵を描いて白の上にでるんですか
長石釉の下に描いたのは「下絵」です。そう言う絵の具を使っています。
