@@anthonym3351Whats the issue now, you gave it to the Eu who gave it away to someone else.After ww1 the british still had a massive empire it wasn't a surrender more a hand over of self rule in the south ,you never beat them in a full scale war the british had enough of war in france ,belgium ,turkey etc, ireland was a skirmish with irish american senators putting pressure on the british due to promises made by them at the outbreak of ww1.
