How a 15 Y/O Kid is Owning Pros with Anti-Mage
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 чер 2024
- Satanic AKA Butterfly has been owning pros with his Anti-Mage. I've watched a couple of games and compiled them in a guide that people can watch and play anti-mage properly with. He is currently Rank 2 in EU leaderboards and is beating pros like Yatoro, Arteezy, Quinn.

What playing Dota as a kid and not having to worry about things and responsibilities in life looks like. Yes, it matters. I miss those times.
The feels 😢
Time flies waay too fast brother :/
It was just yesterday I got home from school and booted up frozen throne. I swear. 😭😭😭
Cry about it
Ah yes, you were this good when you were a kid and had time to play. Time is an important factor, but in the case of Satanic, dedication to use his free time to improve, along with his talent is what led him to be this good.
Hey bro, your content is VERY high quality and I honestly can't believe you share it like that with us. Thank you so much! And keep it coming, please
Dude, thank you so much! Your analysis and ability to transfer that knowledge in a digestible/intuitive level is incredible
This is awesome, I love your in depth analysis on everything. Even when certain items and playstyles seem obvious it's great to see the reasoning behind everything explained. Can't wait to play some am and feed after work today. Subbed.
I used to play runescape and call of duty when i was 15, but a 15 year old being this good at dota is really impressive. Shows he for sure is a smart guy
Another flawless breakdown Pain good job. As a carry I was wondering if you could do a spectre breakdown? Keep up the good work
Really cool and in-depth video, thanks! Subbed!
that camp pull is a genius strat.. Thank you very much pain!!!! i gained mmr (Archon I to Legend 1)just the free videos alone hope to purchase your coaching session soon for more in depth.. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is awesome content, keep it up!
keep doing more videos my friend , Good job!
A very good educational video .Great job ❤
Really good guide thank you, you earned a sub 🎉
kinda sad that, in the time it took to make the video, slardar and lone druid are some of the most picked heroes right now xd
LD/Slardar are mostly banned because everyone knows their op ;3
Be a CHAD and limit test. Yes, OP heroes exist but you can always play around those heroes!
love this content, congrats!
thank you! so much knowledge in 1 video.
Great teaching content. Thx bro.
Keep up the good work bro
Thank you for great video!
Nice review
Very good analysis
Nice bro i suggest u analyze some different position pro players too 👍🏽
Great guide
Hi, I liked the video it was great and very detailed guide. I am a new subscriber, do you only do safelane guides? I was hoping to see mid guides as well!
4:45 - thank you for pointing this out! Too many people at my mmr (which is low) still try rush bfury with no treads and we lose any chance of contesting lane and the bfury ends up coming out slower in the end anyways. Always bufry doesnt even give atk speed, etc so the treads you have would make it so much effectively to farm anyways compared to a naked bfury that only came out 1min earlier most of the time anyways.
nope you do that at certain situatations. not every games theres benefit too it too
Learned a lot from your videos
nice one my friend
♥
Quality Content!
Bro I love your videos so much, can you make an updated Morphling guide? Satanic kid keeps playing it.
Well done🎉
less than 3 weeks now im at 3,5k from 2,1k! nice vids gotta keep grinding ma man hehe!
love ur vids!
Done subscribing. Your video is helpful bro.
If you know you will not be able to kill enemy in laning phase within 3-5mins, its often a good idea to immediately max your blink and leave Mana Burn and Shield at lv.1. Instead, get the attributes after maxing out blink as you will be farming most of the time anyway.
And also dont forget to use your ULT to kill creeps after you mana burn them.
when youre losing your lane, one thing i picked up from arteezy back then is to never hesitate to TP and use mana void to help in fights, its turned around so many early games for me and helped snowball games
Hey Pain,
Love your videos.
I'm an offlane lover. Could you please analyse how offlaners at higher levels play?
Great content btw. Like many, I appreciate it!
Ive learned a lot from this single video. Deserved the like and sub
you didnt learn anything brother, trust me :D every match is different with different team
Are you saying i didn't learn about itemization in early game at least? Before i was just blindly buying recommended items but now i see wether buying magic stick or stats or healing depending on the match up. I may not have learned the more complicated mechanical skills like timing and farming but i sure do learn something:)
@@-JoShiwa oh okay.. i see. then yeah, you learnt something. for me it's basics so that's why i said you didn't learn anything because still every game is different doesnt matter what MMR or skill its all about your team and enemy team.. all of the things mentioned in the video are fine but you cant really apply it
Thats actually kinda true as most of the teachings here were specifically around AM vs X but there were still some tips that i can apply in my games like for example, neutral item selection. Before i would never pick the seed as i view it kinda mid but after listening to the explanation, i learned that it could be very viable in some situation. Personally, i still dont vie for it but when in pinch and need to farm in neutrals, i would pick it instead. Makes my game a lil bit better in terms of scaling.
top notch content🎉
Thank you
I played AM since 7.34d patch and feels good after the 7.35 with the adjustments to item costs and stat changes.
Where do you get the item images, so much HD. I've been trying to get something like that but end up with low quality images. Can you share where to get those???
tnx alot was awsome
Good stuff
Small other team, bubble is also S tier for neutral as it does the same thing has seeds, but gives u even more regen.
I am 5k and i don't watch such vids but man your vids are really good keep it up brother
Ive played dota for 2 years now , its not my main game ill admit...i have watched back all the Ti's and many majors ( i like watching pro TI and Majors almost more than playing maybe lol) ...Great video , theres so much to learn from him, also watched RTZ and Yatoro farm pattern alot...Im 18yo and im at Anceint 5 ,cant seem to get past it with pos 1 and pos 3, Should i just stick to Pos 1,its my fav. ??
PS: For a game thats not my main ,ive spent more money on dota than all of my PC games on Steam, Epic and Blizzard combined, along with my PS 4 (maybe not PS 4 games lol), and i dont play my PS 5 anymore cos of dota !!!
if enemy does alot of magical dmg isnt it good to skill counterspell at level 3 even if there is no unit targeted spell against you?
One of the best Dota 2 channels !
I reached divine yesterday by watching and applying what I learned from this channel and I realize that I'm not subscribe mb bro thank you for your videos.
Can you do something like this for a support player you think is really good?
Thank you for the video. Now more people will be picking am and ruining my games.
Cheers.
What carry should i pick when both of the supps in their skills have catch
Against eblade/decrepify/necro, is it okay to go for Nullifier instead of Abyssal/MKB once you have your weaknesses covered?
Depends, usually u can drain so much mana with abbaysal when they pop eblade or decrip you press mana void and they blow up
@@PainDota That makes sense, thanks!
is he gonna be the new miracle BAAAAAT
I think reaction time and overall performance peak around this age. I hit 4.7k and later that turned into ancient 3 when i was 16 but now 21 rarely can proceed what’s happening in war
hope he's ready for an update from volvo
Dejavu, felt like I have watched this before.. how is this out 4 hours ago :p
That's my favorite hero man
AM is back?? I'm going to get major flamed for picking him in pubs but I love his crazy farming, never allowed to die, split-pushing style.
I've been seeing it too, and honestly it does pretty well when vs weaker lanes, which can often come from what the enemy 4 is as the 3 will likely tend to be strong. If you see stuff like Nyx, pudge, SB 4, things that don't offer much in lane, you can prolly get away with an even lane so a W for AM.
Ofc whenever you're vs an actual decent lane, Slardar + Grim/Veno, Lycan & those or any other range harasser with some CC, you gonna be screwed.
Wait, people actually buy other components first? So far every hero I build battlefury on seems to require cornucopia immediately... And a major reason why battlefury isn't as good as it used to be is the cornucopia cost vs ring of health
This kid just needs to start streaming...
He streams. Look for butterflydota_2 on Twitch.
He does sometimes,

"75% win rate in his last 10 games." Did we just had our first draw on Dota history?
He can jungle if he has token seeds of serenity and treads
nice tutorial
Why is AM a good counter to Specter?
Good
Can't wait for Manta or Skadi namechange
XDDDDDD
I bet on Bloodthorn
Hey Pain! Great video, could you kindly share your PC specs? Thanks
rtx 3070ti, ryzen 7 7800x3d
@@PainDota Thank you!
nice
Yatoro aside, why exactly is anti-mage considered weak tho? He has positive, albeit not overwhelmingly positive, 51-52% wrs across all brackets until Divine+ where he's sitting at a bit over 50%, and he's been making an increased comeback in the past few 1-2 weeks or more.
Yes he sucks in lane, but as we all know, even being just slightly behind on AM might as well be considered a W , going even is a solid W , being ahead might as well be GG. Stomped the AM in lane but your other lanes got stomped? Until you stabilize the game , the AM has plenty of time to farm and that's it, GG. Even if you manage to get a lead and push, as long as you dont completely dominate the game & get about 2 lanes, or are knowing on their throne, he still has time to scale to absolute OPness.
remember that you CAN buy other components of BF first IF it means saving gold. if you have 1006 gold and you about to die. buy the broadsword. if you have 1100 buy the broadsword and the tp or salve. if you have 1350 but secret shop not in range of courier yet. buy the claymore.
ty for video even am abuser like me learned couple of things )
Has AM ever NOT been vaible?
imagine if Satanic played when perseverance gave 10 dmg and was a component of bf
VovaPain как всегда выдает базу по нашим про игрокам)

same one picture
2:00 bro what happened to legion's eyes
As a grown ass man, I can’t believe I’m watching a tutorial video about a gameplay from a 15y/o
When to buy vanguard bro
AM needs more buff before going in the current meta
This is what happen when you asked Isagi Yoichi to play Dota. He want to goal by play striker carry.
YONG first blood too good
I like the video, but promoting anti mage for the 85% of players who are below 5k mmr is not a wise thing to do. The void guide was perfect in this matter, but anti mage relies on a mentally stable 4 stack which happens twice in 20 games. If you are lucky to have strong teammates who has macro skill (which they lack most of the time) its great, but most of the time it will be tilting and grifing once the laning stage is over.
Butterfry?
Great video! one thing, tho is i think it's better not to upscale items with AI. It looks sort of weird
LOIN ?
Cornucopia gave 7 dmg? I've been building bfury and autopilot and i didn't even know this was a thing. Guess you learn something new everyday
you should give warning that this only works for ancient and above where people understand AM role in the game. below that you just gonna get fkced because your team will blame you becasue they keep fighting 4v5 and of course they keep losing and feeding LOL
more mid content ! great video
Imagine thinking being good at am is impressive
like and commented
wrg
Skadi nerfed
Lol hes just good with any hero.
You people don't understand that you're not playing 1 vs 5. you're playing 5 vs 5. So if your teammates are weak then your AM won't do a thing....
Anti mage is kind of meta again, people who rush 1st item midas is griefing again, people actually have to use their brain to play dota again, nature is healing
He looks like an 8 yr old kid, are u sure he is 15?
Hq content
So dota 2 has officially entered it's SFV era, sad
It's Seth all over again but in Dota, disgusting
I appreciate the video but private lessons? For Dota? wtf. If people are actually taking such lessons then we truly are doomed lmao.
