In a detailed 40-minute interview, where he explains at length how he views the Prana Pratishtha (consecration) of the Ram Lalla murti at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Monday, January the 22, the Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth has said that he has not been invited to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. He added that if he were to be invited he would certainly go to Ayodhya but made it clear that he would not participate in the Prana Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony. Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said he does not know if the other Shankaracharyas (of Puri, Dwarka, Sringeri) have been invited but equally clearly said that none of the four Shankaracharyas will be attending the Prana Pratishtha ceremony.

No longer does geography or race/etc give us the protection to ignore divergent views. And hiding is not the way out..Not building xyz is not a workable option. Altho this temple could have been built elsewhere..Every 2 centuries brining down a place of worship is such a lame thing. Honestly I respect hindus now after watching this video. People like Shankaracharya and the true hindus should come up and show the world that sanatani is a beautiful religion before BJP makes it seem worse globally.
The head of family is not invited rather he invits others to the ceremony. Sankaracharyas are to protect and spread the Sanatan dharma. They are not doing it properly. If they were doing it properly, bhart would not be going towards an islamic national; Stones are not being pelted in the festival of Sanatan. Karan Thapar is a man of leftist, who are against Sanatan culture.
I have come across many suggestions/ advices by Shankaracharyas in past & am delighted to watch this interview. People should see & learn what the Shankaracharyas advice or preach. He has not only highlighted the sentiments of Hindus, but also has considered the sentiments of other religions like Muslims. He has proved that they are not for Hindus only, they are always there for people of other religions of the country. They are against any oppression on any religion, like Shri Ram did. This thing makes them great dharm-gurus. My deepest respect to all the four Shankaracharyas. I sincerely hope, they will be the dharm gurus of all the people, irrespective of religion, in the Indian sub-continent.

All the four Sankaracharyas have said, consecration should not happen before the temple is completed. What right does PM of a country have to do this ritual. That's not his job. This is one of the best interviews I have come across. Right from the English-Hindi balance to the politeness and grace of Shankaracharya ji, his immense knowledge, rationality, logic, reasoning, and way of conveying feelings, the message, everything is superclass.

Bro, I am not a very religious person, I think I lean more towards science and logic, but after this interview, I want to really meet the Shankaracharya and touch his feet, his way of conduct and politeness with rational logic has made my belief stronger in the role of Rishi munis in ancient India and their wisdom. His firm determination to follow the rules (not arguing whether those rules are correct or not) even when whole nation speakes against him has taught me the lesson of standing by your words and perform your duty with full honesty with no fear of consequences.

Whats your problem, do you even know significance of ram temple ? He's the one of the most important figure of hinduism. And we can't even get the temple at such a importat location for him. Even after it has been clearly stated in supreme court that temple ruins existed below the controversial structure. maybe being hinduism does not matter to you, but it does for us.

Beauty of our nation because Hindi has automatically and organically become the link language of the northern part of the country over the last few centuries just as English became the link language for much of Europe and later, for much of the world.
South has 4 states and 4 different languages which my southern friends tell me are not too familiar in speaking, writing with each other.
Some people both in the north and south of the country are not willing to accept the logical thing to do here which is to accept Hindi as national language but they are being irrational and even petty. No other word for it.

The only thing worse than a “brutal” dictator is a “benign” dictator. He loves everybody, supposedly, and everybody loves him. He is there for you and me, he has our best interests at heart. He is the one who will give you the Ram Mandir, he is the one who has built it, who will inaugurate it etc.
But the actual religious people such as the Shankaracharya are excluded. That’s very interesting, isn’t it?
So, whose interest is the temple really serving? Inaugurating a half built temple is certainly a novel strategy.

There was silence for more than 500 year's and now when all in place "Sabke pet me dard ho raha hai" No one was ever ask "Why" Mosque build over temple that's too after demolishing it. If silence is a meaning of weakness i would better choose to roar than to scream. about Shankaracharya well this is happening over Ego not on spiritual wellbeing. Shankaracharya said the Temple is incomplete but it's the outside vicinity whose work is in progress not temple and Pran Pratishtha is done to request supreme lord to take place in idol to bless the people. As per Shankaracharya he meant that vicinity is incomplete in that case even the entire Ayodhya is vicinity so it will take decades for it to get ready. Why Shankaracharya has no problem during Somanath temple consecration. It just an ego because Politician are there for Pran Pratistha and this Politicians played the big role for todays Consecration along with other Sanyasis and Karsevak "Warna aaj bhi hum Silence rehte aur Prabhu Ram Tent me rehte" I come from Brahmin family and know the Karma-Kand very well.
