Well done mate getting the lines to look so sharp with no filler.!! As someone who’s tracking a bit of a resto on a camper van I can fully appreciate the work that is involved
Love the work so far, and this makes me miss my old Novas SO MUCH ! - I had many, but my main build was a preface (GTE) - with GSI interior. Here’s a few add ons I did, you might want to copy?? The front bumper: I had brake ducting, using Nissan Bluebird air vent / louvers (they are found next to the rear lights on the Nissan’s quarters). I cut them down, so it was just 2 inlets… I think they would compliment your fog light pods very well... And, on the bonnet, I added a Volvo 480 Turbo bonnet bulge + louvers (for a kinda reversed ‘Lancia HF Integrale’ look). I also had plans to fit a 1998ish Honda HR-V roof top spoiler, with about 4 or 5” cut off the back portion. These ran the full length of the roof (mine was obvious a hatch, but I had a few saloons too) - I miss them days ☹- Yours looks great
Don't forget to protect glass from welding / grinding sparks / dust as they damage the glass. You might not notice until car gets wet but the embedded specks of metal turn rusty and glass is ruined.
Like the project .are you going to tuck the bumper in ? How you thinking of covering the inside the wheel well ? Guess I will need to wate and see 👀 need Up the good work 👍👍
@@thomasmartin6025 thankyou mate i need to extend the inner arch out to suit the wing. Im focusing on the panel work first then tackle the arches next😎

Much appreciate that mate yeh the metal works takes some time to get right but it makes the filler work alot easier
Have to admit. I thought the fog light idea was a bad move. But. The more work you do to this car it really is looking good. Well done mate.
@@dhes2809 much appreciate that mate yeh it was sketchy move especially seeing them for the first time on the gsi bumper😬🤣
