glad to nearly get these fogs complete. so much work getting them to sit right with the bumper and get the inner part of the lenses cut out. time to crack on with the rest of the bumper.

great start on the fog light surrounds. still a long way to go to get right but there definitely taking shape. i know its very odd seeing the gsi bumper but hopefully I can pull it off this week. stay tuned. let me know what you think in the comments 😅 music - ooyy STRLGHT. running into

my first time time making astra vents fit the nova saloon bonnet, very time consuming. I'm still learning to weld. still learning to blend the welds. learning to blend the body filler and learning to spray! but really happy with the outcome so far.

areet guys. very awkward part of the project ive been dreading but really wanted to get it out the road. the gte vents. ive only just learned my self to weld and starting with very thin metal was big risk for me. really happy with the progress so far but there's still a lot of work to do. im still absolutely terrible at explaining stuff atm.🤣 but i hope this video helps with installing these vents

great learning curve repairing the front panel. this was my first go at welding to. was abit nervous at first and not been so much committed to the trigger if this makes sense but got more confident as i went on. really enjoyed blending the welds into the body work even tho im not that good at it. its been a great job and looking forward to pushing on with the saloon

Making some good progress on the front end. Got the the chassis legs and inner wings back to bare metal. Was surprised how well the wire wheels got the surface rust off. Cut out the old rust on the inner wings where they corroded on the front panel ready for the new pieces to get spot welded on tomorrow. Chassis leg repair panels removed and cleaned up. Very time consuming for me as its my firs...

first go at removing the front panel. it was a tricky little first job of the build but happy to get it off. found alot more welds then I spoke about which i'll explain more about in the next video. the inner panels were alot worse then i expected so hopefully get them parts repaired this week and everything bolted on. part 2 coming soon :)

Dreading taking the under seal off 😅😅
After watching a few other body repair channels I noticed they use specific drill bits to sort them spot welds out. A bit pricey but they swear by them, good progress! Look forward to the rest of this build 👍👍
I did use the spot weld drill bits but i had to drill some pilot holes for them with the some of the welds they just wouldnt bite🤦🏼♂️
