Congratulations, you're glowing! Grad school really can be lonely! I was lucky to have met my partner. He was partially what wad keeping me alive during the hardest grad school days. Since we got together, he also made it a point of me never touching my grad school work while we're together. I was mad at him for a while but now i totally understand and appreciate him for doing what i couldn't do - separate my phd from me as a person.

I wish that we would have had a rule like that in the beginning of my progress. Grad school can easily lay on the guilt when we don't work, but having your partner tell you its okay to be a human is so helpful!!!!
