- The fifth Gatorade branded collab to hit the PG4 series releases, and these things smack!! A variant colorway of the last Gatorade release which we reviewed, these feature more of an orange kinda citrus-y vibe to the colorway. Let's break down the tech, the fit and of course the colorway, and check these things out on feet! What do you guys think??

I’m in love with the colors on these. Having a sneaker feel as close to being a “part of your foot” is key in preventing injuries when playing ball. These even look lightweight and super comfortable. I love the shroud on these it gives the sneaker really nice finished looked and saves you from having to re-tie. I also love how the outlines the outsole and didnt leave it all white. Not that I’m going to be ballin AT ALL but these are very dope
313 Retro Queen I love the colors on these and honestly the colorways of the 4’s for the most part have not disappointed much at all. You’re absolutely right about the part of your foot comment. It’s funny how shoe companies created the myth of the high-top sneaker providing extra ankle support when they’ve really retrained the consumer the last few decades to go for the heel cup lockdown angle for the structural stability. And while I am a big fan of these shoes, the 5’s are going to be vastly different because the uppers on these are just not stable enough to keep most people from consistently rolling over the sides of the footbed over the midsole when really making drastic cuts. Having said that, they look and feel pretty amazing on foot for non-balling purposes lol these things are pretty darn comfortable imo
I got those myself in a size 12.5 fits great 👍🏾 on my feet 🦶. Now I’m getting the 2k digital editions. This weekend the Christmas 🎄 editions are getting released

Q • Soles ayyyyeeee that’s what’s up man!! Now let me throw some negatives at you real fast!! The shoe is pretty dope, but man the uppers are absolute trash!! Even Paul George himself has switched back to the PG1’s here lately, as another comment or mentioned, because it’s just soooo easy to slide right off that footbed and find the bottom of your foot actually coming down on the cloth upper itself. The shoes fit reallly reallllly snug, so most people are sizing up and sizing up too much of course further detracts from the hugging, lock-down squeeze that the upper is trying to implement. The shoes are comfortable, the cushioning and traction are dead on but the ability of the upper to actually contain your foot when jumping or contorting different directions on the fly is seriously, seriously compromised by the Cloth upper, the zip up shroud, the lacing system’s inability to lock you down, and the somewhat small heel cup in the back of the shoe. Try them on, jump around some in store and see if you still think this is the hooping shoe of the year, lol. I think you’ll like them, but probably opt for something else, like those Freak 1’s you posted recently. You might still cop a pair cause the prices are super dope right now, but I doubt it’ll be your go too hooping option all year long.

Andre The Flash man my B!! I swear I’m gonna do better with these videos. Between working 2-3 jobs, my main job being an absolute hot mess, trying to find good daylight weather to film in, and actually trying to pretend to have a social life lol, I struggle to find any time for anything anymore. I’m hoping one day the channel pops and it’s all worth it in the end. Flu Game 12’s are the shoe that sent me down this path myself also, tbh. I used to do Jordan Reviews every week but I never got more than a few Hundred views, so I’ve sorta chilled on reviewing anything but Nike Basketball basically. Why PG play in PG1?
Mister No Excellent question my guy. honestly bro, I hate to say it cause I love this model but the uppers are pretty much trash!! While the shoe is comfortable and forgiving, the cloth upper, the lacing system and the zip up shroud itself are not structurally stable enough to keep your foot from sliding off the footbed and rolling over the midsole onto the actual cloth upper itself. I love the shoe as a sneaker but for hooping, these just aren’t it imo. And I think PG13 himself is experiencing that to the extreme considering his style of play and just opted for something a lot more sound, like the PG1’s. Trust me, the 5’s are going to have to be vastly different than the four if the PG line is going to ever be considered in the same boat and Lebron’s, KD’s, Kyrie’s, Kobe’s, etc
