I remember when I was like 9 or 10 and I was playing Tony Hawk, I had just started skating and soon realized that what I was doing was super unrealistic... until I saw Pudwill skate.

You work for your pop. (Obviously some people can pop higher aka TPUDS) I used to be able to ollie maybe an inch. Now I can ollie a little over a foot high. I can jump really high, but I cannot ollie near as high as I can jump. But one day, I will be able to.

All of the people who dont like Torey always give him shit about his style. I think his "style" is super gnarly. Just the way you can see that he puts everything into his tricks and that its super uncertain if he will land sometimes. Thats refreshing to see someone like that because a lot of pro skaters have clean style so after a while it gets a bit robotic. Torey is just raw and powerful with his pop and you can see that with how he skates.
Jeff Phon I agree, his style of skating is real and raw. It's also exciting, makes you just want to go skate.

It's funny, I used to eat lunch on those stairs. The spot was always popular with skaters since there's a ton of smooth take-off room and a clear landing area. I never tried it though since I maxxed out on 3 stairs lol
