8:29 What are you doing! My sweet summer child, those roots weren't "rotten because they looked white and fuzzy" hahahaha. You could have transplanted them into bigger pots. Well, you did quite well, except for the not watering part and then the throwing them into the trash part LOL. You made me giggle, so thanks for that, you beautiful sunflower you. 😂 Good luck on your next batch, can't wait. Hope you had fun at least.

😂😂 im still learning. So they were hard and fuzzy due to needing bigger contianers? I also thought it was repelling water

@@NaturalDaniah Once earth dries up like that it does repel water. The soil was no longer usable, it needs regular watering, (not too much neither, some drainage is usually required). So maybe just set an alarm next time, especially if they are in the full sun, small bits of soil will simply bake into the dried up stuff you had much easier than larger pots... But the plants looked like they might have survived by carefully loosening the clump around their roots, maybe by soaking them in water for a long time, like maybe 48 hours. No matter, just grow a new batch and check on it every day to make sure they neither dry up nor get too much water, doesn't have to be perfect, go with your gut feeling. Gardening is awesome, just needs a bit of trial and error, you'll get there, they do most of it themselves.
