Jon Stevens is unmatched as Judas. Hirschfelder's arrangements are the best ever, and so incredibly modern even today. Makes other versions seem camp and out of date.
Saw this show in the great City of Adelaide in the early '90's and loved it! Loved Jon's role and songs in the show, and just want to thank his wardrobe person - love, loved the pants!!
Remember going to see this production as I was and still am a big Farnham fan, within the 1st minute i was totally blown away by the vocals of Jon Stevens, absolutely awesome as was the entire production, still the best i have ever seen, just shows what great talent we have in this great country of ours
Still got my ticket stub for the 1992 show. My favourite memory is Jon Stevens with his voice, then his leather pants, then the gorgeous John Waters....yummmm!
For many years it was only Carl Anderson, everyone else was (not bad but) less amazing-to me. Jon is the first who, IMO, rose to the same height. He owned this, made it his while also keeping faithful to the original style. A perfect mesh.
I went to this Aussie production in 1992 & it blew me away. And Jon Stevens is by far the best & sexiest Judas I have ever seen!
Stevens is a great singer I think Noiseworks had to be one of the most underrated bands ever.
Perfect voice and look for Judas. Such a great singer.

It will be great to see Jon in the new JSS arena as Pilate.

I loved Angry Anderson too.

Some people take UA-cam too seriously. Thanks for the upload!
grown up listening to this version of jcs!! My parents are in the crowd there :P
Me too, even though I was 8 at the time!!
Jon is up there with Marcus Lovett on spunk appeal
Is the soundtrack from a performance with this cast available anywhere?
#2. This is the exact same video that I put up a couple of years ago.
all i am looking at is the lead singer of noise works who is a kiwi what is the issue?
#1. This is the 1992 production, not 1994.
#1 This video is property of MTV Networks
#2 It's kind of weird that you would think either of those things are really that important.
Not a better Judas was cast before or since!
Virgil Donati ???????????????
