Jon what a terrific job you did fronting this great band. You couldn't have asked for a better tribute to Michael. Never tear us apart - absolutely awesome. You truly are a legend to me !!
Jon was their best chance at creating music again. They blew it because they only wanted to play old songs. Jon respected Michael and the old songs and but he also wanted them to create new material. Jon can't replace michael but then he never tried to, and he doesnt have to he is respected singer/song writer in his own right. They could have pooled noiseworks and INXS fan bases and created some good stuff IMO as well as pay homage to old songs. God Bless Michael.
This was a great line-up. Stevens is technically as good a singer as Hutchence was, plus he's athletic and handsome. Perhaps not the poetic lyricist Hutchence was, but you can't have everything! lol! R.I.P. Michael.
Problem is it's always easy to look back. Jhon wanted to look forward but the band well... We know how that whent. They chose the easy way which turned out to be harder than they thought.
Jon was a perfect choice as the Front man it is a pity the union did not last. The music recorded with JD is solid, the songs are INXS JD's Vocals were average at best but with some studio tweaking it wasa solid allround effort as an album release. It is good that INXS are trying to keep the dream alive and as fans we should respect whatever they can produce. With MH upfront they were awesome & shall remain awesome.
Alguien sabe si hay un registro de INXS, lo que sea del Concierto en Chile del 5 de Marzo de 1994 a las 21:30 hors. Lo unico que tengo de ese dia es la entrada. Saludos!!
No One can EVER replace "Hutch", but Jon did a fantastic job filling such big "shoes"! Best front INXS ever chose. And was hard right from the start to replace a lead after 20 years!I think that it is long over due....INXS should retire gracefully (They are becoming an embaressment!)
awesome thanks...they are NO longer INXS in my mind...they died with Michael..Bless his soul!!.. But Jon Stevens did an AWESOME job out in front, the ONLY one that ever could....!
I think because of the marketing , the band maybe wanted to reborn INXS and when the reallity show to find the next Inxs singer borned . I Think they kicked JS . It´s only my theory .
If Jon stayed with the band i reckon they could have been still the all star band that they where with michael. Not with some guy who pretty much fucked up the band. The new INXS musci is shit too. the direction their going just isnt Classic INXS which sucks!
INXS should just Retire and Move on... As a Fan of INXS from the 80's... INXS is nothing with out Michael Hutchence (20+ years as Lead). Jon Stevens was the pick of the bunch. Going on a reality show to pick a front man, just plain "Tacky" !
get JD back..jon is awsome but jd wrote some great songs with inxs i thought he was a great fit with that band..please tarent trent darby. God no inxs needs to sound like inxs.. get the kid back.jd.maybe now he ggrew up a bit
Jon said it all with his words at the end...no ego, just love and respect.

No one could ever replace Michael, but shit Jon does this song so much justice,RIP MH you live on forever.......
yeah Jon was indeed the ultimate and best replace INXS could have. Their loss indeed. Fantastic voice.

What a shame Jon didn't stay with INXS he is AWESOME!

few people worthy of replacing Michael. Jon Stevens was ne of those few. Great singer and performer. He isn't Michael but he's great

I saw INXS in 1990. Nothing has ever compared to Hutchence. It's so hard to watch Jon sing this, though I adore Noiseworks. I miss Michael.

Can't call it INXS without Mike. They couldn't go on w/o Mike. They probably cried after every song.
wow
@Jon Stevens 😘
You would do him proud

ohne Michael Hutchence fehlt das Salz in der Suppe da war früher viel mehr feuer drin
My freakin god...................he sings it better than Michael Hutchence.........It`s fucking unbelieveable !!!!!!
Jon Stevens > J.D

Loved Noiseworks and Jon Stevens is a good singer but he doesn't sing this as good as Michael did.
Dont know why stevens attempted this, its a dead mans song, leave it alone, NOT YOURS......
I agree. However as a tribute to Michael Hutchence he did a fantastic job.
