@@bakefire9138 But the goal of UA-cam's AI isn't "intelligence", but to be used as a weapon to quell a youtuber's speech, beliefs, and opinions. Notice how you can voice an unpopular/controversial opinion as much politeness and fairness as possible, but you'll still be at risk of demonitization, cutting off a pathway to financial stability.
This is my favorite episode simply because it's so fucking hilarious and also has a pretty poiniant and relatively easy to understand point. Always love to see that you dropped a new video my man! edit: i hadn't seen the fish night explained, thats defininetly my favorite holy shit
This simply shows the dependency and inefficiency of human race besides we are too far in science and technology. AI, one day will rule the world and who knows it still does. This episode give me the horrors of worst kind. All appreciation to the writer.
I should have caught it even though I’ve only seen this series once, (intend to rewatch ) I missed that china joke thinking it was just some fun poke at how they own almost everything but the next economic offer thing you said sums it all up beautifully
2:35 just thought I'd pop down here to say that the movie Summer Wars 100% begs to differ on the whole "as long as the AI doesn't have a physical form, it won't be a threat" thought line. Seeing as the main antagonist of the movie is an AI without any physical form but is able to cause massive amounts of damage (including deliberatley getting someone killed and nearly the entire main cast as well) from inside a massive online network that essentially is the whole of the internet in 1 centralized hub. It also acts as a kind of indirect commentary on how extremely heavy reliance on technology could really screw humanity over in even just a single night.
If we train AI to take advantage of others, then it will be the best on it, as well as if we train it to improve mankind. Since humans are training it, it's exactly as Stephen Hawking said.
hey good video man, i remember watching this and not really knowing what i was looking at and thinking it was funny and when i half remembered it today i started looking up stuff like "milk taking over world give us ohio" and eventually found and. glad i did
Yeah but ...its yogurt. Is that humorous? I mean shit man this was the most boring episode in the entire show. Fucking yogurt? I mean they forgot one basic ingredient to a movie... It. Has. To. Be. Interesting. Anyone can make that distinction between a.i. and the idiocy of the human race. Its already been done in other movies and its just been done better.
As soon as I saw the Yogurt give instructions on how to clear the US' debt within a year, I knew it was an analogy for AI.
When you said China gave us a place, I thought rockefeller and rothschild
"The rise of AI will be the best or worst thing in humanity."
UA-cam demonitization bot is the worst thing.
I think the demonitization bot is missing the intelligence part of artificial intelligence.

Wow, that completely flew over my head. The fact that the yogurt was just an analogy for AI. Now the story makes a lot of sense.
Yay! So glad I could help!

That one dislike is someone lactose intolerant.

that's why elon said we should try to merge ourselves with ai, but then you guys kept saying, "then who's in control? you or the ai?"
Wow the part that got me was they were bettering the yogurt and not themselves
I just saw this and oof i was thinking exactly the same
This channel has criminally low recognition. I donate my subscription to you.

Haha thank you for noticing!
Wow! AM Mind blown... when I saw IT,I never made THIS connection between yogurt and AI.
Awesome to hear, glad I could help make that connection!

THIS EPISODE REMINDS ME OF HOMUNCULUS FROM FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST
so essentially something like the technological singularity

This is a tribute to the cult classic "The Stuff" from 1985 by Larry Cohen
Funny no one noticed that, great pop culture reference

Scalzi's not a legend. He's a pasticheur with good PR.
Reminds me of Childhood ends. The overlords had the same concept
Indee what are we without YOGURT . . . . constipated and cranky is what.

I came looking for some intelligent explanations in comments but all i see are idiots says “i am first”
The last sentence really got me thinking

So... What exactly should we have done in this situation?
eat the yogurt and pray it doesnt keep fermenting inside you
Easy, just follow what the yogurt says
Sounds like 2020
This is happening right now
Yogurt 2024 !
Black mirror episode 1 reference? 0:36
Why would the yogurt need any signatures if it already became superior to humans 🤔 lol
Trying to go the path of least resistance I guess
scary
worst 6min LDR episode on netflix because there's no plot whatsoever. it's just an animated ceo of danone yogurt.

it's the absurdity that makes this whole thing unique and interesting. some may not enjoy it as much and that's ok.
