Is he the original "iron mike" then? Quite something when u consider mike tyson came after that, ted was definitely gifted on the mic, not as a singer obviously but as someone who could perform n keep the focus n attention of the audience like all great singers etc, he captivated the audiences. Its very kind of him to share all these deep personal stories.

From my understanding the DiBiase vs Moore match was strictly boxing and was a pro match, not an exhibition. It was Moore's final fight. Moore previously had boxing matches with Dizzy Davis and Professor Roy Shire.
In those days a lot of boxing cards would have wrestling matches and vice versa, because the business was so kayfabe that the wrestlers had to get licensed and have physicals like the boxers.
A lot of wrestling gyms were also boxing gyms so the two sports were always intermingled until the 1980s when Vince basically had the matches legally viewed as exhibitions instead of contests.
The DiBiase vs Moore fight took place at the Madison Square Garden in Phoenix Arizona, so not to be confused with the MSG in New York. Other than newspapers I have never seen a picture or a film of this match, which is a shame because there is at least pictures of Moore against Davis and Shire.
Jesus Christ Almighty God bless you all
