- Begin your tour with a 40-minute scenic boat ride through historic Nassau Harbor to Blue Lagoon Island. Upon arrival you’ll attend a fun and interactive orientation covering the natural history of sea lions, animal training techniques, ocean conservation and wildlife guidelines. This educational and entertaining encounter is your chance to experience sea lions up-close. You’ll have the opportunity to hug, feed and play with these humorous marine mammals. Your interaction will take place from specially designed, waist-deep submerged platforms in a calm, private island lagoon with ten or less guests in your program. @@naimuds8269 That's the english word for them, in Germany they are literally called Seehund (or in english Sea Dog/Hound).
In Korean they are literally called "water dogs". Water = 물 Dog = 개, so 물개

azabigail1 Sea Lion. Both are Pinnipeds but there are a few differences. One thing you’ll notice is that the sea lion in the video has external ear flaps. Seals usually just have tiny holes where the ears are. Another difference is Sea Lions have a rotating hip bone that allows them to walk on all fours. Seals have to bounce and roll to get where they are going. Finally sea lions have large front flippers they use to propel themselves through the water. Seals have tiny front flippers and use there hind flippers to move in the water.
I always liked this very smart and friendly animal....

OMG what a cute and sweet seal :) . Im sure it was a rehabilitated animal and it is so nice people can have an enjoyable day and get educated on these beautiful animals at the same time. You can tell the seal is very well cared for and loved.
pappysprite Sea Lion. How can you tell that he’s loved and cared for? He’s being forced to do tricks to eat. Would you be happy about that? Do you think they actually love this animal? Or that they are using him for profit. If he attacks someone or stops performing the way they want, what do you think they’ll do to him?
@@JenelleD12 Please don't bother me with your comments. I thought it was a cute video and that is that. Many animals have been rehabilitated and can no longer survive on their own in the wild. This is a fact. The Blue Lagoon rehabilitates sick and injured seals. They are a member of the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks & Aquariums. Sea Lion Encounters conducts and supports scientific research with marine mammals, recognizing the need for information to conserve species, habitats and biodiversity. The resulting information from this effort benefits the survival and understanding of animals both in the wild and under human care. You do not spend hours with the animals. These are wild animals and the contact with people other than their handlers has to be limited. This seal is lucky to be alive and appears very happy to me and they are educating the public.

They deserve to be free, not in a pool and people paying for watch that, incentive those situations still happening..... as dolphins, orcas ....
But they are safe there against White Sharks and Orcas...

The cat family has over 35 species and dogs over 40 - including wolfs , not forgotting to mention the amphibians and reptiles.

a) be a wild animal living in the wild
b) lock up at a limited space to swim around, performing tricks in order to get food (don't forget the starting training method). Last but not least, repeat this every single day until you die (most probably without any chance to find a mate)
