- Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas shore excursion to Nassau Bahamas, Blue Lagoon Island is a must! Carnival cruise line and Norwegian Cruise passengers were on the island the same day and it was not over crowded! A beautiful ferry ride over to the Blue Lagoon Island, interacting with Sea lions for an hour and exploring the dolphin and stingray areas made for an amazing day! Water shoes are a great idea as the walkways were hot and the platforms are slippery! Lockers are available while you are in the water. Segways, kayaks, snorkeling and lunch is available on Blue Lagoon Island for add ons once on the island, but the beach and water trampolines were included with our Sea Lion excursion. Prices are listed for different activities and photos and video of your encounter with the Sea Lion is listed as well. @RoyalCaribbean

We have never been on a cruise.. we have our first cruise coming up.. but my Son would love this place. He has already told me he's bring his Humpback stuffie on our Disney Alaska cruise.

Great video! Do you know if one can book more than one encounter like sea lions and dolphins? And do you know of others that are interactive? Thank you
I know they have an interactive swim with sharks, stingrays, dolphins and sea lions. They all include the transportation to Blue Lagoon so if you’re looking to add on an additional encounter you’d need to ask at the shore excursion counter or once on the island maybe they’d allow you to pay additional to add a second encounter.
This looks like so much fun! I will be heading to blue lagoon island this summer and have the encounter booked. I was wondering if the photo package with the video that is $129 includes tax? I’m just trying to plan to make sure I bring enough money. Thanks!! Great video!
It really was so much fun! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. I honestly can’t remember if the photo package included tax, but I’m pretty sure I mentioned the price that we actually paid (which would include tax). I would bring a little extra for drinks or snacks as well :)

Do you recommend prebooking this before the cruise or when you are there? Does this ever seem to sell out?
Yes, I would definitely prebook as I have seen it sell out on all sailings we’ve taken this year. I did just see it on sale for Cyber Monday. It was a great excursion!
Hi i really like the videos you post, they are very helpful! I was wondering, with the sea lion excursion, it shows on the Royal Caribbean site that it lasts for about 5 hours. Would you be able to take the ferry back and do another excursion in the same day, in your opinion? I cant decide between 2 excursions lol
Thank you so much. I’m actually in Nassau today and you are at the Lagoon for the full time. They give you an assigned time for your group to meet at the Sea Lions. There’s a lot to do on the island though and you would have time to do the dolphin or stingray encounter, segways or even enjoy the beach, shops or water sports activities. It was a lot of fun! What other excursion were you thinking of? We might have done it but not posted yet.
@@SiegleMedia Thanks for the reply, I was thinking of going back towards the port and doing some sort of tour. Not quite sure since this is our first time on a cruise lol these videos are a huge help :)
@@valeriequeen9710 You will be exhausted after this tour. We didn’t even want to walk through the shops after. This excursion is great for your first time to Nassau because the boat ride over to Blue Lagoon and back is like a tour in itself and there are lots of water sports you can add on once you are on the island, either before or after the sea lions. I would honestly purchase this one again because we really enjoyed it.

Thanks for the video. We have this excursion booked. Do we have time to enjoy the beaches at blue lagoon? Or do you have to leave once the excursion is done?
You will definitely have time either before or after your encounter to enjoy the beach or other activities available. They will tell you what time to be at the Sea Lion encounter when you get your wristband. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!! Loved it!

Are people allowed to take an earlier ferry?
We checked in on the pier with our tickets at our excursion time. If you are looking to leave blue lagoon earlier, it could be possible as long as your sea Lion interaction is first. We had about 2 hours to relax on the island after our interaction, but there was a ferry that went back sooner.
