Tencent can go well, but doesnt have to. If the games are profitable enough and consistent in that, they usually leave them alone to not destroy the consistent income and/or growth. But when games revenue is fluctuating a lot or is simply not high enough for what they see monetary potential in, we often see how companies with majority stakes from Tencent tend to increase the monetization to some degree. And everyone that wants to point to Warframe and PoE - ones grind became more and more annoying over time, incentivizing people to buy Plat (saying that as someone with 700h+ in Warframe) and PoE is literally selling their cosmetics for hundreds of bucks.

No sorry, I may seem cynical but to me this smacks of a greedy corporation trying to jump on Kuro's success that they have worked hard for with both PGR and WuWa, and see how much money they can snatch out of it!! No I cannot see this as a positive ... just my personal feeling. They will try and turn both of Kuro's games into nothing but 'cash cows' for them.

From now on i could say to you we are gonna say goodbye to kuro generosity.. tencent is the most greedy company i've ever seen .. i played so much game where tencent hold the majority of shares of the studios and lem tell you the amount of in-game transaction is insane in these games .. i recently quit a game because of this and now this game is diying although it has so much potential but they ruined it with the p2w things.. all i have to say is we are coocked..

@@markleebatiquin9179 if they change the current gacha system it would be dead in just a few months.. but i think that would not happen .. the things that is gonna happen tho is now we will suffer to farm astrites the banner will be two 5* characters per patch.. new expensive skins and less rewards in the events with alot if in-game paid packages..

@@Kastienburg things that might only change are the frequent release of skins and might have skin collabs with animes and other games, a better marketing for wuwa (wuwa might get a cinematic trailer, a music video and they might get an animated series like Arcane of League of Legends which tencent has 91% share of)

@JunHikari no, the issue is tencent doesn't have the greatest track record, the game is good I play that myself, I'm just not a fan of tencent so I'm probably gonna wait until 2.1 and see of things played out, if I didnt like what's going on, I'm dipping tbh
