    Gorgeous!!! Can you use the oil wax with DIY paint? Also can you use it after you have applied DIY cream wax? Thank You for sharing your expertise on repurposing furniture!!

      You only need one wax. Paste or oil, not both. Oil wax can be used on DIY Paint, but I have found it may take an extra coat. Oil wax does not soak in to diy paint like it does on wood or milk paint.

    Love the chippy red. How long does it take oil wax to totally cure?

      Since oil wax is a liquid once dried it is cured. After application of the last coat is recommended you wait 24 hours before use.

    I want to try this! Will you put this in your antique booth? If you are not sure of its age do you just label it salvaged or upcycled? Or does it even matter cause it looks so good!?

      It is in my booth now. My mall is antiques and collectibles so hand-painted items are allowed regardless of age…but I usually paint vintage pieces.
