  • Found a beautiful table at my local thrift store for only $25. I love to save old pieces and this one really needed my help. And I don't just paint everything. I love the look of wood and save it can when I can. Refinishing wood is a lot easier than you think if you know the right products to use. Check out the makeover.

At the beginning I admit to yelling at you to break out your steam iron.. You must have heard me. My grandfather taught me that trick back in the early 1970's. That is one beautiful piece. Love it.

Way to hang in there! I was skeptical, but it really turned out beautiful. I love the way the curvy legs stand out!

Great job. You put in a lot of work. Looks like that paint applies easily and with complete coverage.

Your persistence at plowing through removing the veneer really has paid off. I haven't tackled a piece with that much damage yet, but this video gives me the confidence that I, too, can do it!

This video took me back to my childhood. My dad actually won a table very similar from a friend playing poker believe it or not. He brought the table home and it had alot of cup rings and damage to the top and even the legs but my dad let me help him remove some of the veneer and patch it up...sand and retain n refinish...I was maybe 8 or 9 but I treasure those times whe. My dad included me ...and let me be his helper

Gorgeous makeover! I stopped by your booth and loved it! I purchased JRV stencils and some DIY paint for projects. I'm a long time picker/upcycler so I put myself on the waitlist at Plaza Antiques. I will be shopping your booth more! Great videos, I always learn something new and get inspired by you.

Wow, not a color combination I would be brave doing, but the end result is amazing. I love that you are willing to take risks with damaged furniture and then further a transformation with something unexpected that gives the piece a whole new vibe. Love the table! Have a great week.

I love it! The only thing I think I would have done differently is I'd have put the oil wax over the entire thing. Either that or found a way to put a glossy or slightly glossy stripe around the black at the top. I've stripped tables and dressers of veneer before - not an easy job, but you knocked it out of the park!

The double ads were really annoying on this one. 😬 Veneer is really much easier to replace.
