I love this baby. Mine has been upgraded with black tusq nut and saddle, and brass pins with abalone. I also added Fishman isys plus for the electronic system. Nevertheless, Petit (yep, that's his name) has been really enjoyable. Big thanks to Yamaha for making this product.
Is the tusq "upgrade" necessary? I actually find the Yamaha plastic pretty good, I tried bone on some older models. The guitar become a but better for finger picking but a bit muddy for strumming.
What would you recommend between this and the APXT2? I'd like 7 year old daughter to learn on it (but also something I can use as a travel guitar!). Thanks!
How about our most popular acoustic guitar, the Yamaha FG800? www.kraftmusic.com/brands/yamaha/guitars/acoustic/fg-series/fg800 Please feel free to contact a Kraft Music sales advisor with any other questions. Thanks for watching! -Dave

Pat Kluivert I have one, and it totally does. Think if metal were a sound- that’s the only way it can describe it
