Extension looks great! I would put tiles in the utility & bathroom, if the washing machine or shower leaks at any point it would ruin the wood flooring (speaking from experience 🤦🏼♀️) ❤

Just wondering if you think you should of gone wider with your extension I know it’s all about money when home renovations but if it’s your for ever home they say it doesn’t cost that more just the floor plan then you could have a dinning table in the kitchen which is more practical you’re living room looks bigger but that’s my own opinion it’s just an observation love your vlogs than your extension good on you guys for coming this far and can’t wait to see it finished xx
We can put the dining table in the kitchen if we change our mind as there is more than enough room for it behind the breakfast bar. I just prefer the idea of the sofa instead as it creates another living space. If we move the dining table into the kitchen, we can’t really do anything worthwhile in that space in the living room. Another sofa is off balance with the rest of the room and it would feel like dead space. It’s basically just a better use of the space to do it that way 🙂

I think you should do matching floor tiles in the bathroom and utility 😊

I love the herringbone floor it's beautiful but for the utility/mudroom it might be wise to go practical and match the bathroom. The kids will have muddy wellies etc in here.
