2023 Seafood Processor Wage Increase! Silver Bay Seafoods has always rewarded hard work with great pay. Silver Bay Seafoods has increased our 2023 wage for Alaska Seafood Processors to $18.06/hour (overtime rate of $27.09).
Was hired on with one of the big names, full time job as maintenance technician. Leave next week for three months on and one off. I also was hired for salmon season by about 5 companies. Seams like salmon is easier to get hired on and then once have experience getting hired on for a season would be easier. Super excited this job I will be able to save for retirement, have medical/dental/vision, able to put money away for 529 (college) for my daughter. It's going to be long hours 7/12's for three plus months but the reward is going to so be worth it. Even looking at buying lake property for a cabin in my home state and hope to get into real estate/rentals.
@@smokeboi123 yes there was a lot of them asking if I had the shot. I have two and the third booster so I was good to go. I believe they wanted booster also. I was offered a job with e&e for salmon and if I recall they didn't require the covid shot. Peter pan, silver bay, vessel jobs all required. Since covid started it's been a problem at the plants. They use to have everyone quarantine in motels before going to the plants but I think that's all done now. I'm leaving for the islands not main land. Hope I get there before then two volcanoes pop other wise to aircraft be going that way till the ash settles.
Im trying to work as a seafood processor and i dont see any with housing available right now. Is there a way that you somebody can help me find a processing job that has housing? Know whos hiring rn or anything?
Sky bunny they hire tons of women. Just get a list of seafood co offices in Seattle and go apply at them. Probably ask u to fly out the next morning .strong chance.. seriously.
